Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

I look a bit at best of both worlds and I'm actually good with it since we still Bluth and by extension his work. 😊

So if possible like to change vote.

[X] Plan Best of Both Worlds

@Magoose I have a question as to John Musker and Roger Clement's ability of negating roll maluses for staff and films. If they become the Head of Dreamworks, would that affect all the directors (and their staff) working for them?

If so, other than picking Otomo rather than Tomino, then Plan Combo Time is the best plan for long-term success. We have an opponent with a HUGE money lead on us and apparently another opponent by the name of Kathleen Kennedy is coming up. If we have that, we should take advantage when we have the chance to take on Bluth and Katzenberg if their downsides can be set aside. Especially Katzenberg with his stacking bonus (that could be a huge money and prestige source for us). And, if people don't like Katzenberg's culture...that is OTL.

Sure, Katzenberg is a guy with potential problems (if he breaks down), but perhaps Bruce or Lucasfilm's culture could help him curb his more negative tendencies. Certainly being shepherded by Musker and Clement could help him.

Though, I do agree that it would be a huge downside to let Gundam go and to let an alliance with Sunrise go.

@Mr. Idiot would you be willing to switch out Otomo for Tomino in your plan?

Too late for the beginning and middle for the creation of star wars in this thread.

Just in time for the vote for japan animation to join with American production.

[X] Plan: Combo Time

With the change to the plan, Combo Time really is the best plan. It gets the Gundam rights and maintains an alliance with Sunrise. But, it also gets us Katzenberg and Bluth with their downsides being eliminated by Musker and Clements (since they are the head). So: we get a snowballing power with Katzenberg (who gets +100 to all rolls per successful movie). That is crazy good- no other animator gets more than a +50 to a single area (and only up to 2 areas). Katzenberg gets them all with one successful movie (and no downside with a failure due to Musker and Clements).

The other plan does not have Musker and Clements as head and does not take on Katzenberg due, partially, to not believing that he would mesh well with Bruce. Well, neither did Eisner at first. But, with votes, actions, and omakes, Eisner and Bruce have a great partnership that has helped rocket Lucasfilm. Let's not leave behind the rocket booster that is Katzenberg.

So…

Anyone feel a little trolling coming on.

Cause I feel like doing a little trolling :V

Hey @Magoose I've been loving the movie results touch in side story, but wanted to ask two things.

First I'm already guessing animated films done by DreamWorks will get the same treatment. But will tv shows whether animated or live action done by either DreamWorks or Lucas films get a similar treatment?

Second considering how involved we are getting into the movie making business beyond acting. Any chance of doing some kinda rumor mill system to see how any films or shows done by the competition Universal, Disney, Paramount, etc do, like youve been doing for the movies sorted in side story.

Also troll away my friend ~😆

Correct. Though not all of them will be done by me. Most will be done by others since they ask a lot of the time.

No. Last time was an arberation of the rules I have which include no rumor mill.
Bring it!

...Also, since PBS is still doing the bargaining for the Cultural mythologies animation, does that mean we get to do said show for them? It would be good training for our animators.
Highly likely.
Trick question; there's always time for a little trolling
Indeed there is:

A little bit of trolling:D100 => 96

A little more trolling:D100 => 69

Oh and one more thing:

The Thunderchild:D100 => 100

Um so Disney decided to make it as epic as possible… and succeeded.

Someone get that metal song about Thunderchild.

It is warranted
