Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

[X] Plan Best of Both Worlds

AMERICAN ANIME! ANIMERICAN ANIME! AMERICAN ANIME!

Hot damn, getting Gundam alone is the absolute icing on the cake, so many original stories we can make in the Gundam multiverse from established and new timelines. Hell, we can doubleteam Gundam content with Sunrise making the Canon stuff and us making new timelines. UC is going to be the perfect double hitter with Star Wars and I can't wait until Mobile Fighter G Gundam where Chibodee Crocket is a Bruce Expy and instead of Master Asia we have Mr. Dublin voiced by Bruce. This is gonna be so good. Tomino is a master storyteller and escaping toxic Japanese work culture and having large creative freedom and support from his bosses will do wonders for him.

John Musker and Ron Clements definitely deserve to be Directors considering they've been doing good work in the editing department and they made some of Disney's greatest hits and got great vibes for a positive work environment.

Don Bluth is also a great addition for the classics and he can keep 2D going strong when Pixar rises up.

Kawamori is a GOAT of design and through him we can get Macross and Transformers. If Kawamori performs half as good as OTL, then we'll have an awesome dude to network with a lot of anime's greatest and can have access to tons of stuff like Ghost in the Shell or Patlabor, we're going to be the kings of mecha with him and who knows what awesome stuff he can cook up with Ralph McQuarrie.

Overall the best possible lineup. We got three of the greatest animators of the 20th century, the Godfathers of Mecha and we're gonna get Gundam and Macross to boost our titles. Hell of a lineup.

I like the idea of potentially having Transformers be a Dreamworks production. We're unlikely to make the mistake of naming a nation "Carbombya" as a tasteless joke. Which caused Casey Kasem to quit the show.

It's somewhat funny for just how shocking it is, like a comedian setting up something up a seemingly normal opinion and then pivoting towards something shocking and absurd to defy your expectations, but is the kind of tasteless joke that you chuckle at how stupid and shocking it is while you're writing or passing it back and forth with pals while bantering, and then immediately move on because NO SHIT you shouldn't actually use it.

Is there something I don't know about these directors? The setup of Combo Time/Mecha Combo seemed so good. Maybe I should make a version of the plan that drops bluth in favor of the Gundam guy?

Like, that escalating +100 from Jeffery with no chance of the downside thanks to Clements and Musker is an amazing thing to have, no?

Edit: this isn't rhetorical I legitimately wanna discuss this.

Guys, I've been talking to Magoose and he mentioned that Tomino being Head Animator means he brings Kawamori in with him. Having heard that, I'm changing the spot given to Kawamori to Noboru in order to trule get the best of both worlds. Is that alright with you guys?

Yeah, your plan is broken mechanically if it worked out how you expect it to, but I frankly don't care for that kind of min-maxing and would rather get the directors that I simply prefer.
