If staffing the lesser option was difficult this would be near impossible with just your Hearth Guard, you will most certainly need extra bodies to man this structure to full readiness, around say a middling-sized Clan's worth of warriors. Then to top it all off, you plan to create a defensive work so mighty, so grand, that only a southern hold could hope to match it! You would not beggar yourself, but you would feel the cost of such an undertaking.

A bit bold perhaps, but an idea for a capstone.

Durin the Deathless

For centuries you have guided, inspired and protected your kin in the Far North. As an Ancestor of renown. As an Elder. You are a figure many look up to for advice. For wisdom and guidance, for safety and comfort. You have thaught many a student, helped them to find their own way and nutured that nudget of curiousity that drives them ever forward. Young lads and lasses, each grown into fine runesmiths. You are proud of them one and all, no matter where they are.

However, over the course of these long years you have realized you are not the first to chase that spark of curiousity. That drive to learn more about both the world around you and the limits of your craft. To innovate and help others learn. To push the art of Runecraft ever forward.

This is great. That would be MAmplification right? I wonder if the rune of brotherhood would actually do anything if we stuck it on here. Something wacky down the line like MAmplification/brotherhood/? to boost inspiration and runecraft made inside.

So what do people think the ??? for extravagant aesthetics is? On the bad side it could possibly attract a monster or daemon known for greed or vanity, or someone could take it as a very egotistical act on our part and start throwing their political & monetary weight around. Not sure on the possible benefits that aren't already laid out, beyond the fact that maxing out all the infrastructure options probably nets us a title or marks it as a high tier creation. Maybe we insight some sort of one up-manship with the south or other holds in general, spark a (hopefully relatively good-willed) rush of building and wonder making?
I can't rule out the ??? being "Excellent Dragon Bait" however my guess is that its more about the interest and willingness of dwarves to get involved.


Going to have to remember to review what is actually winning later, but I have a tendancy to forget to vote if I wait entirely, when is vote ending?
