At first glance, taking the deal seems like a no brainer, so we should take it without forgetting to get the drug dealer out of the truck.

However, we may want to try some diplo to see if we can talk his lordship into sending some envoy to open communications with our boss or something along such lines. If nothing else, we can sweeten that proposal by commenting that we have the guy who made the car he is interested in.

Doof wasn't born in the US so no.
Didn't he become a citizen like any other immigrant, though? Through the naturalization process?

Oh, wait, that doesn't matter. We're talking presidential requirements, not citizenship ones.

Also pretty sure Phineus & Ferb already built some sort of digitization ray.
Indeed. Right here:

Pretty sure that the car the Duke is getting comes with some kind of comm device (after all, Xanatos was able to phone us during our arrival at NYC prior to the Auction)...so opening up business relationships with the Duke should be very in-the-cards.

That being said, VANESSA should be able to run for Prez just fine.

Yeah but their version was a Big Idea and therefore followed an Inator-ish NO on replicability, I think.

So, for the purpose of a re-usable way into the Digi-Zone the Shiva Laser is better in the end.

I have no idea why people don't want to forget him. Forgetting all about his sounds much, much funnier.
I agree it might be slightly funnier to forget him (depending on how far they want to take the running gag of the guy still being in the trunk), but in my post on the previous page I went into a way we could get a similar level of funny while retaining the guy.

Of course, they could come up with another, funnier idea ('hey, you almost forgot this guy in the back, did you want him?' 'oh yeah I knew we were forgetting something' 'you know, that reminds me, I should make sure I didn't leave anybody in the trunk of the car I traded you...eh. One superpower-drugs-dealer for another sounds like an even trade, yeah?') but in general...

I trust the law of conservation of comedy: a slightly less funny option now can lead to an even funnier option later. Comedy is not created nor destroyed...shoot, I think at this point I'm halfway to an omake "Ludivine watches Russ training Max and starts trying to science it; eventually all the notes go up in flames because of the toonforce getting out of control in the training area and the toonforce itself actively resisting being studied", but I'm at work and I really should get back to that.

Just for clarity´s sake, guys (since some comments did confuse me a bit):

Are we really gonna abort the quest after having done business with the Duke?

I mean, I´d understand that decision since we are currently facing resistance so strong that our current party might not be able to hack it, but I am still a bit bummed out that we won´t be getting any BnL Space tech outta it.

I think IC they were planning on heading back anyway. This was just a scouting mission iirc, and there are clearly multiple groups of people running around this junk wasteland.

plus I think some of the Wall-E robots got salvaged as well, so there's that.

The quest is currently at 3 updates. Comparatively.

Castle DoofHawk had 6 updates
Vegas had 15
Blue Hawaii, Xanadu and Birds had 4
Magic and Moolah 13

So not impossible, a bit short, but not nothing. Still I would have expected some sort of hint at the Axiom in the quest, so maybe more. The really long quests tend to be the ones we get significant notice of, have to take on a particular turn, can prep for, and have Doof.

If I was a betting man I'd say we'll drop in on one more place before we head back.

Hey, now that we have studied human genetics, should we buy out Sev'ral Timez? They could work both as entertainment industry and cloning research.
