I'm going with this for now. It's not perfect, but it does allow Goofy to work on college. I may revisit my vote later.
 
Couple of thoughts as I catch up on the thread:

1) I strongly advise people to consider having Kitsune do an Intrigue action to sabotage Doom this turn. If he's reacting to the damage she causes this turn he'll be in a worse position to deal with Blot's sendoff.

1b) I had an idea on my walk this morning. Next turn it might be fun to send Russ to sabotage Doom as well because his toon sense could amplify whatever shenanigans Blot gets up to. Risk of this is Blot taking it the wrong way, but at the moment I feel that is unlikely given Russ' skills and Blot's personality. Potential payoff could be glorious.

2) Having the Commodore investigate the drug ring seems like a pretty smart play for a couple reasons. First, they have the best chance of figuring out how a behind the gym drug ring expanded to a flying fortress so quickly. Second, this is likely to build trust with them since investigating a drug ring is a non-malovent activity. Third, hiring them adds to the progress bar for a full hire down the road.

3) Our rival reports have shown more people reaching out to the feds. Better to get in early than late IMO since this colors how the government perceives us.

Welp, I couldn't finish this before the moratorium ended so I'm just gonna post this here and catch up on the pages I missed. If anyone is actually interested in why I picked things, I'll write out an explanation. I feel it would probably be a waste of time to do so without being asked though. The plan is too late to win, and its chances were slight even before.

Is there any particular reason why you are foregoing the ficing of our OS in the wake of either two seperate attacks or a single two-pronged assault on our digital security? Because I consider that a gross oversight compared to going for "Reach out to Shere Khan", for example (as much as I would like to get some business with the big cat going otherwise)

Personally, I'm delaying cybersecurity because I consider moving the castle and buying Wyndcomm Enterprises to be more urgent. I really want the space company and scientists and research it comes with, I really don't want our rivals getting it. Castle... I could delay it a turn, I suppose, researching Exotic Vehicles and Sublight Drives may significantly lower the DC so Roddy has a better than 66% chance of success...

By the way, to anyone else interested in participating in the space race, is there anything in my plan I could change that would get your vote?

Sure. I don't think it'll matter much but I doubt it'll hurt.
 
There's one thing I am rather worried about. It seems every leading plan has LOVEMUFFIN on Decentralizing the Normbots. While I agree it is an important action and one I was tempted to put them on in my plan, their whole thing says they specifically want to do mad science. I worry that they'll find doing the decentralizing too boring and it will make their malus permanent (thus pretty much locking them out as viable options for an extra action due to negative loyalty). My plan had them both chat with Doof and be psychoanalyzed by Technor while also working on human genetics - same DC as decentralize - so that we could hopefully move past their problems and make them more effective workers while also minimizing the damage they could do if they fail their assigned action. Researching human genetics, after all, probably isn't going to be as immediately dangerous in a fail state as having them mess around with the programming of our defense and policing system.

You know, earlier I did ask whether Roddys Personal Action to Build a Lair would satisfy his expectations to do construction work for us as entry project. If I had recieved confirmation (or ANY answer for that matter), my idea would have been to put him on Build a Lair for say, Hego. Then we could be using the free Stewardship NA for stuff like Wynndcom

...Just a thought.
