Unpaired quark Familiars? Gabriel + horn? Some other "helps to destroy the Universe with SCIENCE" type of concept?
Given that our thinking about, "might be why Hitomi's mother "recently remembered"" is accurate, oh what a tear-jerker.
This woman is good people. There are lots of memories I hold that aren't in my mind at any given time. They come up when I focus on something related, in any indirect manner or by will. If I don't recall them, they may never be seen again. But I was able to remember at any point. How does the mind-wipe work? Not sure, but if I were to generalize, once a thought is gone for a while it stays gone. The people around us tend to live like this. Brains work in that manner. Pattern reinforcement, vs pruning.
"Not at all," Mrs Shizuki says, smiling faintly. "Truthfully speaking, until recently, I had completely forgotten it."
What did we see in the conversation? Sayaka's ring was a very subtle detail. The memory came back as soon as the block was lifted in her case? Puella Magi Adfligo Systema - Story only | Page 6
What does that timing mean?
Emotion is not modified in the memory removal?
Separating and moving away was not the end, even if everything stopped and was erased. Mrs. Shizuki has been trying to remember all this time. The memory modification was adapted or repeated to hide the hole she was trying to look into. Haruka was subjected to mind control that was perfectly able to overwhelm her, yet somehow that relationship never went away. She blindly resisted the Incubator over that last memory for 30 years, probably because she never stopped missing her friend. Telling us the story is pretty much the funeral for her long-ago Ritsuko? When we next meet, try to reach deep inside to use our power to pull away her Grief? The situation is old, and settled. Grieving can't make her lose her magic and witch, but it is what we do.
How many Grief Seeds does Homura have? Where did she get them? Not sure if this is the right answer - we have learned a lot about relating to her in four years! Puella Magi Adfligo Systema - Story only | Page 11
Homura had one Grief Seed, at the minimum.
We are already explicitly complexity-limited and we have things that are more time-sensitive, more important, and can only be talked about in time stop.
Yeah, this. @Neinet, and other voters, I would appreciate it if you trimmed your vote down a bit. Say, two major topics and assorted minor focuses, similar to @Vebyast's in format? A vote that long is simply unwieldy.
We can save that for another time, given that we'll probably be bringing Sayaka into the loop soon, we'll have plenty of opportunities to ask about Walpurgisnacht's Grief Seed.
Personally, though, I've usually been under the assumption she doesn't have the previous iterations of Walpurgisnacht Grief Seeds... mainly because of a combination of Mitakihara being flooded and totaled, Madoka dead or witch, Homura injured from the fight. The franchise does seem to imply she never sticks around for very long after Madoka takes Walpurgis down.

If Kyubey wants to fuck us over he's not going to do it like this. If they have information-gathering meguca they're not going to target Madoka. The "they may find out and target her anyway" scenario is so general and specific that it would ruin literally every plan - Hijiri might target Madoka because she's friends with Mami who's friends with the Pleiades, Rionna might target Madoka because how else would she be suppressing all information of her misdeeds, etc. And, most of all, Homura isn't going to be strawmanning at us. Saying that the Tokyo magical girls won't know or care that Madoka exists is perfectly reasonable and doesn't pollute our message.
I don't think Kyubey or information gathering meguca will actually target Madoka. I think Homura will be paranoid enough to think about ways they might if we do say "No one will know about Madoka's involvement". My version isn't completely sufficient for avoiding potential Homura paranoia either, but I believe it has a higher chance of avoiding it. Also, I do think Homura may be very opposed to the idea on the grounds that Madoka shouldn't need to be exposed to the worse parts of the meguca world, so we need to be careful about that.

We can talk about therapists in the general meeting again instead of in timestop. @Vebyast has convinced me, as I doubt Homura would have done something like bring a therapist in in the past.
We can talk about Hitomi's mom in the general conversation I guess. My reasoning was that Homura was flummoxed when this was originally revealed, and so this was to reassure her and give her a reason for things that have happened. However there is no reason we need to do this in timestop other than Homura possibly bringing up past loops, but I think that would be unlikely.
Asking about Walpurgisnacht Grief Seeds MUST be done in timestop for obvious reasons, and although there are reasons not to ask, I think they are outweighed by the benefits.
-[x] Re-emphasize that you're always willing to answer any questions that Homura might have, and go fishing for anything she might want to know. Any decisions of yours she wants more context on, particular people she'd appreciate analyses of, that kind of thing.
I am explicitly not mentioning Madoka's Wish because I do not believe that Homura understands that trying to reduce Madoka's opportunities to wish is a pointless endeavor. She's too good at finding ways to martyr herself. She's like Sayaka in that regard. The way to keep Madoka from Wishing is to improve her self-esteem enough that she's satisfied with her life without making a Wish. I wanted to go into a full explanation of Madoka but people apparently think that this isn't the time for that, so instead we just need to make sure to not reinforce Homura's bad ideas.
Hopefully this change should address it. Most of the talking will be done at a later time (Is it really a later time if we're in timestop, or is it a not-time? Find out next time (or not-time?) on PMAS!).

-[x] No outside magical girl would even know they exist.

Any decisions of yours she wants more context on, particular people she'd appreciate analyses of, that kind of thing. -[x] You're meeting with Hitomi's mother this weekend, you should ask later if Homura wants to be there or add anything to the agenda.
-[x] Ask what happens when Witches rehatch. Do they drop a grief seed? Are they more powerful? Why isn't farming a single witch done?

We can save that for another time, given that we'll probably be bringing Sayaka into the loop soon, we'll have plenty of opportunities to ask about Walpurgisnacht's Grief Seed.
Personally, though, I've usually been under the assumption she doesn't have the previous iterations of Walpurgisnacht Grief Seeds... mainly because of a combination of Mitakihara being flooded and totaled, Madoka dead or witch, Homura injured from the fight. The franchise does seem to imply she never sticks around for very long after Madoka takes Walpurgis down.
The thing is, these are old old questions, of massive importance to our overarching strategy in this quest, and putting things off even for a short time can mean it will take literally years to answer them. Redshirt recently got a reminder to examine the Feather that he sent to himself last year as a joke, and if we don't examine that tonight or tomorrow (in six months or so) the weekend could take over a year with that question going unanswered the entire time.
Right here? Right now? We have a potential opportunity to answer one of these questions. Perhaps it will pan out, perhaps not, but if it will then all we need is the presence of mind to ask.
As far as assumptions go, I'll point out that we just had a significant contingent of the thread arguing that we didn't need to ask if Homura had grief seeds from old timelines because of course she couldn't. That it was impossible. Then Firn chimed in.
Theory and hypothesis is all well and good, but the empiricism is important; Do not trust what you do not test.
So with all that in mind, I'm going to take Vebyast's vote, and add that bit in:

-[x] Sayaka has most of the puzzle pieces to put together that Homura's a time traveler.
--[x] You won't share anything without permission, and you don't foresee Sayaka causing issues if she figures it out - you're just warning Homura so she isn't entirely blindsided if it happens.

-[x] You asked the Incubator to stop mind-wiping "people who your friends care about".
--[x] You think that might be why Hitomi's mother "recently remembered" having encountered a Puella in her childhood.
[x] Madoka has low self esteem, and always wants to help. That's why she's at such high risk of contracting.
-[x] Sayaka had an interesting insight based on Madoka and Hitomi's performance in the Model UN.
-[x] Discuss involving Madoka and Hitomi in Tokyo political analysis. Respect Homura's fears and concerns.
--[x] Madoka wouldn't need to directly encounter any outside magical girls, while still significantly assisting our group.

hey i know the answer to this is probably negative. but does anyone IC know about the time dilation we experience? it might help give people context to us being super impatient and micromanaging

Touché, fair point... given that it sounds like Homura holds onto multiple incarnations of Sayaka, Mami, Kyoko, and Madoka (most probably the earliest incarnations of Kriemhild... somehow?), I wouldn't be surprised if she got lucky on a few loops every now and then in PMAS canon and nabbed Walpy's Grief Seed. The main thrust of my comment was more about triaging when to ask and perhaps save asking about Walpurgis's Grief Seed for when we Witchbomb/ Timebomb Sayaka, which is upcoming. It'd probably be a good time to work that out, given that discussion would be all about Walpurgisnacht... so it'd be more relevant.

its likely she has a bunch of wally seeds, after all after a certain point the entire goal shifted from "kill wally" to "stop madoka from contracting" cause madoka is able to one shot wally as a magical girl
EDIT: or in other words wally gets exploded by madoka in every timeline that she contracts.

We might not get to a discussion 3 hours from now in game for another 6 months if enough stuff happens. And who knows when Sayaka will finally make up her mind, we don't want to pressure her into making the decision before she's 100% comfortable with it because we're dying to find out something we could have asked on our own here and now.

Just swapped the order on some of the low-priority stuff. It's a reasonable argument for the addition. Working from phone, so please let me know if I broke anything.
