[X] Decline, thank Yemma for his time, and leave. You'll return if you fulfill one of the first two conditions -- or alternatively, if you later feel like taking a crack at Hell. After leaving, jump to:
-[X] New enemies.

[X] Go to Hell, brave whatever perils lie within, and try to enter Heaven as quick as possible. Explicit QM's note: no guarantee of survival if you do this. There never is, but for this path in particular, there are a lot of insanely hostile and powerful threats, and this quest doesn't do level scaling or warning shots.

[X] Decline, thank Yemma for his time, and make ready to leave. You'll return if you fulfill one of the first two conditions -- or alternatively, if you later feel like taking a crack at Hell.
-[X] Ask Yemma if you could make a short visit to Gohan now, even if only for a matter of minutes. Not to stay.
-[X] If so, do so. You... would very much like to see Jii-chan again.
-[X] If not, or if the price would be too high, jump to old friends.

[X][ASK] Lord Yemma, could I use ki telepathy to contact my ancestors in the afterlife?
[X][ASK] Dazarel, have you ever heard of a pair of spacefaring warriors who go by the names Lapis and Lazuli?

The alien fleet is a big X-factor; their sheer SIZE means they may well have a few magicians or psychics along, but it'll be a crapshoot locating them and there might be none present- we saw no sign of magic or psi powers among the scouts.
I can just imagine us turning up there and finding one of their sorcerers and them running to their boss screaming their heads off that a strange monkey girl with a dragon is haunting them.

Going to Hell is a horrible, bad, no-good idea. But if we do do that, I would suggest asking Yemma if we can hang around his office for a little while collecting souls he was going to send to Hell anyway, then escorting them down all at once as our own personal army/chaff.

It would be nice to chill with Jii-chan for a bit, but Heaven's lock-down is completely reasonable and I don't want to go poking their defenses with a stick. Especially since Yemma isn't going to want us visiting every other week. Visiting now may mean that he won't let us visit later, when we actually have some specific reason to.

Old friends and old family are the most likely things to let us anchor our shade, and/or catch up with the Senzus. New enemies is the most likely to get us information that we are really going to want to have, and/or help us save the invasion forces. Everything else is a mystery box that we can deal with later.

2-Considering how dangerous Hell is and that even then it wasn't a wrong choice because it is a high risk high reward option... I don't think Old enemies is a good idea since there is a very, very small chance it could be the Enemy (which would be incredibly dangerous but give incredible profit if we learn anything about them). Even an insignificant chance is too big from what we know of them (btw, thank god we didn't try to go SS2)
i don't think it will be the Enemy. He seemed to believe the sight wouldn't work on him.

Nobody thinks asking Yemma if blitzing Snake Way and visiting King Kai to have him act as a telepathic satellite bounce is viable.

On a slightly unrelated note I just realized there's no real limit to spirit sayian Goku did use multiple planets for the spirit bomb on Namek with enough ki sense we could get up to some insane levels of power.

That doesn't mean we can't visit him.

It just means we shouldn't try.

I suspect that blitzing Snake Way would not be viable in the time available (roughly ten minutes).

We're a lot stronger than Goku, but we'd be making the run in a loooooooot less time than he had.

But yeah, we CAN ask Gohan if he can arrange for someone to contact us. If we can visit at all.

...Is there any way Gohan could come down to Hell to escort us?

Actually, even if we aren't going to heaven or hell it'd be useful to just chat to the deceased, with Yemma's permission. Or even Yemma himself, if he has time. Getting an update on the state of the galaxy would be useful.

He's almost certainly too busy to justify taking time off. He's one of the gods, and gods in Poptart's setting don't just lounge around doing nothing all day.

I like this vote.

I also like this one.

-[x] New family.

And this one.

Essentially, I want new people. If we depend on old friends/family, we are likely to end up back on Garenhuld OR near some Z-Ancestors who won't be likely to be able to interact with us.

We need to find alternatives.

But the deceased who are waiting in the line?
The problem is that we have no reliable way of sorting through that line of the dead to find people with useful information. It'd be a very long extended crapshoot to get the kind of information we want, and given the Sight's ability to home in on things of special relevance, it's probably not our best angle of approach to the problem.

That doesn't mean we can't visit him.

It just means we shouldn't try.
I feel we're both working off the assumption that the Enemy would instantly obliterate us should we be transported near them.

But I'm working off the assumption that instant obliteration has literally no upsides and is therefore a wrong choice. So no, old enemies isn't The Enemy.
