[ ] Tell Dazzy that we might forgo dragging him through the deepest depths of literal hell itself if he can convince us of a more productive option.
-[ ] We will not do terrible, terrible things to Dazzy if we don't like where he leads us, but he does not know this. Exploit that to the hilt while he is already shaken.

Mastered Spirit Saiyan followed by a journey through Hell would be fucking mythological.

Awesome.

Respectfully, I would like to inquire as to how.
Two reasons. First off, Dr. Gero is rediculous. He built them to take out son goku, but made them orders of magnitude stronger than he thought he needed too, and with a dozen extra capabilities besides. He'd already seen goku die and return to life once, so I consider it quite plausible for him to have designed a way to fight spirits.

Secondly, they're old and skilled. If there is *any* way to learn to see shades without a special ability, I would expect them to have it; the same would go for freeza. I don't know that such a technique exists, but...
No, instead it turned out to be the interception point for heaven. Because we're not allowed to/cannot be there right now, and one can only assume the beings ruling creation know how to mess with the Sight if Dandeer can, and indeed almost indubitably should be far more capable.

I have to echo Simon here; that would be amazing, though... very possibly not enough? Although... we know ki techniques can't effect the world when used by a shade. Could we gather Ki to go spirit saiyan as a Shade?
I don't see why not. You can gather the genki / life energy while dead, and jaffur passed us his energy from within his mindscape. It might take extra training, but I suspect it would be less difficult than the actual mastering of spirit saiyan.

As far as strength goes, if spirit saiyan *isn't* enough the only things that would be are god ki, fusion dance, or *maybe* a power up to the tier of SSj3 / Full Potential / etc + a lot of training. As an idea of what peak spirit saiyan can do, it let Mirai Trunks kill fused zamasu where blue vegito had failed. Even our current version is rediculously powerful once we get it going.

Can I do that? I hope so.

Also, I notice 'Those below' isn't an option anymore. Aw.

-[X] Ask Yemma if you could make a short visit to Gohan now, even if only for a matter of minutes. Not to stay.
-[X] If so, do so. You... would very much like to see Jii-chan again.
-[X] If not, or if the price would be too high, jump to old friends.

[X][ASK] Lord Yemma, could I use ki telepathy to contact my ancestors in the afterlife?
[X][ASK] Dazarel, have you ever heard of a pair of spacefaring warriors who go by the names Lapis and Lazuli?

We can take a hint!

By context, "those below" was hell. It's not an option anymore because if we want to go to hell, well the door's right there.

Also I'm not entirely sure that, had "those below" won, we wouldn't have been intercepted by Yemma as well. Because... well, where heaven is supposed to be the ultimate safehold, hell is supposed to be the ultimate prison, which means no escapees. Leaving heaven isn't exactly a thing you can do outside of special circumstances anyways, so I wouldn't be surprised if the entirety of Otherworld used the same defense method for simplicity's sake.

That said, I don't know if this contradicts canon, so grain of salt again.

To be fair, Gero DID work with psychics during his time in the RRA. And he DID massively overbuild his androids.

But I wouldn't bet on it, because it's not just a case of him installing more stuff to make them better at what he already knows they'd need to do. It'd be a case of him installing stuff he doesn't know they need to do. And we're pretty sure things like scouters can't detect a shade, either.
Chaiotzu is/was a psychic. And Goku died, then came back to life stronger.

Having a "in case of Ghosts" or "track psychic powers" upgrade is completely plausible.

...Did Gero even design 17 and 18 with ki sense? Because I seem to remember them not having it as a design feature.

If they can't sense ki (which was common throughout the world even in Dragonball), I'm a bit suspicious of them being able to detect ghostly shades (which weren't)

In this particular vote, "those below" would be equivalent to choosing to go down into Hell, which is totally an option, it's just described in more detail because now we have more precise information about what we'd be doing.

Not including the next destination vote because I have no preference
Um, given the way approval voting works, if you vote for a modified version of a plan other people vote for, you're not supporting that plan and your vote won't be counted towards that plan. It'll just have no effect.

If you don't actually have a preference, but DO want the option to visit Jii-chan briefly if we can, I suggest that you go with the same text as the rest of us. That way, you get what you want, and don't lose anything you care about, while other people ALSO get what they want, and get a second thing they want while they're at it.

The thing I'm dissapointed with the dissapearance of the 'down below' option is that it is no longer a destination in itself, and is now something to traverse to reach the actual goal.

Can we ask whether King Kai's planet is behind the barrier? He should be able to teach us something, even if our direct Ancestors can't. It's specifically stated that Snake Way is above Hell, so I wouldn't be surprised by a no though.

[X][ASK] Lord Yemma, does King Kai's planet count as part of the space protected by the barrier?

I mean, there's always the option of doing the ten minute thing, blitzing Snake Way, and then having King Kai act as our Telepathic satellite bounce.

I think we should ask if a short visit to make contact with King Kai and have him act as our Telepathy satellite would be viable. We know he can contact the living, even when dead, and it stands to reason that he hasn't lost that ability.

Just checking are we allow to ask or train under Supreme Kai, Whis or Beerus?
Even contacting them would do.
To be honest I want a Kakara and Beerus team up against the Enemy way later in the future so training under them for a bit sound like fun!
