I mostly agree, but would advocate some caution before calling in the troops. Aim to get the measure of the opponent a bit more beforehand, else this could simply result in the rapid loss of all non SSJ warriors.

Something I didn't think about before -- but probably has already come up --regarding this topic: Is there political difficulty in calling for the aid of non SSJ warriors like this being seen as weak? Particularly on the Vagetan side.
Your people learned the lesson about useless pride a long time ago. For an enemy like this, nobody will criticize you for wanting help.

Dam spirt bomb flop. That would have been the best way to ask for help.

Still we can send out our base form to coordinate.

Oh, so... if the dragon uses telepathy... Maybe we should make a bunch of multiforms to confound it? It might not be able to look through everyone's minds at the same time.

Meh, I'm not really especially for or against any of the approaches, so here's to random chance. My dice say... option 1.

[X] Hand-to-hand. The dragon is already going to need to deal with two golden oozaru up close; you'll be able to exploit his focus on the others to get in good hits that way.
-[X] Try to keep him on the ground. He probably won't be able to maneuver well without his wings in play.

[X] Ranged. Your skill with ki refinement is still limited, and you'll only be able to keep it up when blasting. You'll contribute best this way.
-[X] Do your best to support the fighters on the ground. Knock the dragon about and impede his mobility; use your blasts to limit his options and give Dad and Yammar openings.

Ehhhhhehhhh...

[looks super-sheepish, moves on, though admittedly that would be proof that Jaffur's heart is, as per his famous ancestor's pure... badass.]

I don't know about you, but my steak dinner started talking to me, I wouldn't eat it.
Yes, see The Restaurant at the End of the Universe for reference.

But on the other hand, that won't actually happen, it's not plausible. The steak dinner is not, in point of fact, capable of generating any argument that could persuade us not to eat it. ;)

Where are those mobs of supporting combatants? Where are the Kaiju-busters? Every single Kaio-Ken Oozaru is as powerful as this 900 million dragon. We should be swarming him with hundreds of apes as powerful as he is and tens of thousands of lesser saiyans while the golden apes anchor the whole thing. What's the point of investing in Tactical Genius if you don't use it?
No matter how weak or strong the dragon is, the royals have by far the best chance of taking this thing down without mass casualties and without some kind of infohazard event blowing up.

So I'm pretty sure that "bring in the mob of support combatants" is at best the Go To Hell Plan, say what happens if one or two of the royals are down.

Also, strictly speaking, I'm not too sure that all the Kaio-Ken Oozaru are in fact capable of hitting Kaio-Ken x30, the multiplier your'e talking about. Furthermore, there aren't necessarily very many of those in any case (because being one puts you on the equivalent of a terror watch list). And they probably can't all teleport.

It's too bad Kakara isn't more experienced at tearing people down.

If she was, she could take advantage of the dragon being psychic and have a multiform clone at work keeping up a constant stream of thoughts to undermine the dragons thinking and/or confidence.

Ugh.

In hindsight, we should have taken Technomancer path. High-level DBZ antagonists seem to be genre aware and thus prone to eating ki in some form, don't they?

And spirit bomb flop hurts too, although on the other hand it would have noticed what we are doing, so...

Should've invested more into education then I guess, if Dragon is any indication.

We aint next Capsule Corps though, I am afraid...then again, if we can get Machine Sensing, we can get a fairly unique perspective on things.
Eh, we can still invest in education, and can take stuff like the Powering of Learning for both a general net(see what we're good at, which our Mum would provide bonuses for) and to focus on Tinkering.

Also want to learn Medicine.

Hmmm...I wonder if we could get Dad close enough to Mind Delve the thing. Then he would know any weaknesses it had.

We'll distract it by saying, "MUFFIN BUTTON' really loudly, to help.

Are we not going to explicitly write in warning the others about both the apparent mind-reading and the possible Ki absorption?

I would really like something like:

-[X] Warn the others about his apparent straight-up mind-reading, and the possibility that he absorbs ki - be on the lookout for him doing so, so we can adapt tactics as necessary.
