Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
well, if it comes down to it, we always have the second secret of dhar. Yeah I know we'd condemn a major part of the continent to a dhar super-Chernobyl, but if that is the only choice, then I'm totally okay with that.

We do have two Kurgan armies fighting him as we speak, mind you.

Get in there and Triple Tech out a few Delta Forces, see how we do

Morghur has already seen us in advance.

There is no skullduggery happening here.

If we fucking survive this and make it home we are learning some Offensive battlemagic damnit.

Figurative, at least in that Mathilde isn't near enough to confirm anything. Forgive my poetic license, I've had that line in mind since I rolled on the grid.
...Speaking of, is it possible to see a non-blanked our version of that now? Or do we have some time to wait? Or just not at all?

Well unfortunately that poetic line is incredibly misleading, but now I must wonder. How long can Dum hold out? Like I said in my previous post before the page updated and I saw yours, the Beastmen have had more than enough time to grind down Dum and make it a Herdstone. For all we might know, if we turn back now, Morghur might make turning the mountain into a Herdstone a reality soon enough.

Remember how we learned to blow up waystones just in case when we first took the lessons on it? I think this might be the time.

And we should trust the Kurgan to keep fighting him? Chaos worshipers? This is insane, we have no buisness in getting involved in Chaos fighting Chaos at the edge of the Wastes.

Yeah, a fighting Retreat should be the order of the day here.

We are not fighting our way through this guy, it is not fucking happening.

Well that's appalling news. I've no idea how it can be a herdstone and still sending magic to Vlag though. Don't herdstones just congeal it all to Dhar?
Maybe it did. It's connection was to a place stuck in unreality after all.

Shit, if this is the case, and we opened the valve back to the greater network, we may just have introduced a flood of Dhar. Though maybe it is not that bad (hopefully), else we would probably have noticed something when we either blocked or unblocked the way.

Well, let's look at what they have going for them. The tanks are serious hard points, and between the wizards and the cannon they won't be easy to crack. They only move at 4 mph, but that's still a good jogging pace on foot, and unlike monsters , the tanks don't get tired.

They just need to focus on finding opportunities for their knights to charge in and move on quickly, without getting bogged down in monsters, or bone fields, or evil gods.

They've got some advantages here, it's not hopeless, probably.

@BoneyM Would there happen to be a Grey Wizard relevant memory packet or is there nothing or just a warning to get out when it comes to Cor-Dum and Morghur in general? Trying to get some IC knowledge if possible.

And why should we care? It's the edge of the Deep Wastes, fortresses to Chaos pop up here all the time. Hell they might even sprout legs and walk in from the north.

Hey, at least we aren't dealing with this while having another tribe angry at us for stealing their cool goblet! But we probably won't be able to steal it now... Whelp Ice Witch Grudge get?

Not really, you'd get a briefing if you were going to be poking around the outskirts of Athel Loren for some daft reason. Finding him here is like landing in Naggaroth and finding Vlad and Isabella.

We still can't beat him.

Like he fucks our magic, he's immune to ranged fire, and he can cast magic at us that can turn us into friggin chaos spawn.

This is not a fight we can win.

There is no shame in knowing our limits.

And this is way the fuck past our limits.

Discretion is the better part of valor in this case.

I wonder if the Grey College programs any messages into Mathilde for Morghur like they did with the Skaven? She clearly recognisea him, so it's a question of whether there's any need-to-know information about him.

EDIT: Eshin'd.

Someone literally already asked that.

And morghur is a known legend amongst the empire, no secrets here.

So his presence here is really unlikely? How much of us finding him here despite the odds because you wanted to make that "Dum" pun?

You know when people were saying going to Chaos Vegas was temping Slaanesh corruption... Well I think this here s a much better example of it. The level of pride in thinking we can fight the Shadowgave on a place he has prepared for who knows how long, at the edge of the Chaos Wastes is the height of hubris.

The one upside of Chaos factions is that they all hate each other, too.

I'd have no problem buying three Kurgan tribes fighting to the death out here, nevermind Kurgans fighting Beastmen.
