I'm not sure about harrassing them. Slaaneshi Daemons are all about speed, and they have a few options that can go at much higher speeds than our monstrous cavalry. Seriously, Steeds of Slaanesh make for bonkers fast cavalry and chariots. If anything ground bound can outrun even a dragon in flight, it is those guys. It would be very hard to impossible for our knights to perform hit and fade attacks against a Daemonic army that includes them.

It should also be noted that a Keeper of Secrets, should the enemy have one, can keep up with Steeds of Slaanesh. In tabletop terms they are faster than our Knights monstrous beasts. Should they encounter such a Greater Daemon, they can neither outrun nor outfight it, and most likely will be slaughtered.

The demons are unlikely to be a well optimized army assembled for exactly this situation. More likely they are whoever happened to be in the mountain at the time. Meaning a mix of all sorts of demons with different speeds. If they try to move as a group then they go at the speed of the slowest demon. If they all go at full speed then they separate which makes harrassing easier.

There is no reason they couldn't move as an organised group, then detach a bunch of Seekers / Fiends of Slaanesh (just noticed Fiends of Slaanesh also move at Speed = YES) + their Greater Daemon to catch and slaughter our Knights if we try to harrass them. Now i don't expect them to have too many Seekers considering they were squatting / laying siege to a Dwarfhold, where cavalry wouldn't be particularily useful, but Movement 10 creatures are such a massive part of Slaaneshs lineup that we need to assume there will be a bunch of them anyways.

What is the slowest thing in the army of Slaanesh? Because that is how fast an organized group would go. If they are going slow enough already the knights will have no reason to attack.

Should point out that half our cavalry is flying, so it's not forgotten.
Nvm. My bad.
