By creating this spell, Mathilde has becomes the Wright of Way.
If we master all the spells (regular and battle magic) we get the title of Loremaster of Shadows
Loremaster of Shadows Dame Lady Magister Loremaster.
You guys are clearly not taking the right lessons from Nekeharan history.Missing a title, she is Dame Thane Lady Magister Loremaster
Pretty far for a orphan peasant girl from Stirland to travel.
Quite possibly a name for a variant 'Rite of Way' that makes use of apparitions.
Considering how avaricious the Golds appears to be, I reckon Max is busy saving up to his own gilding and is eagerly expecting his pay from Belegar each month
4 months, i think? What's the time table for the expedition's length? a year or more?
Roughly three months if nothing untoward happens. What's the time table for the expedition's length? a year or more?
That would be forbidden. The Articles of Imperial Magic clearly lay down that Mathilde has the right to be a wright of rites, but not wights.
- My current plan for the Expedition is that I'll be switching to a Karak Kadrin avatar for the duration of it, as they're the primary sponsors of it and as far as I'm aware there's no canonical Karag Dum flag or insignia. If anyone's feeling creative, a fan-created Karag Dum flag or insignia would fit much better.
Now type that ten times fast.Mathilde Weber, the Wright of Way, recruits Wainwrights for the right wains to ride the Rite of Way come falling rain or failing rein.
well, Hysh is all about purity, and that is probably the most direct way to consume...
I love it, but it needs a different colour layout or it will be to close to what we have now.Regarding this:
I took a note from Karak Kadrin whose flag, is literally just the symbol for their name.
But instead of just the symbols for Karak: Mountain, Stronghold + Dum: Doom, Darkness Chaos. I decided to fold in Kazad:Fortress, city to try in hammer the "Bulwark Against Evil" thing that I imagine they have. I did make sure to keep Dum physically separated just like the Zhuf of Zhufbar, to try and help distinguish that "Against Chaos" bit, but no Idea if that came through.
I mostly want suggestions for the background color and color of the symbols themselves though.
EDIT: Just whatever you do, don't suggest Curves.
The most direct way would be to distill and then inject. Though I can see distillation working, either for Hysh or Chamon.well, Hysh is all about purity, and that is probably the most direct way to consume...
Maybe the background could be a light blue, to represent the ice and snow of their environs? Or an off-white instead, perhaps.I mostly want suggestions for the background color and color of the symbols themselves though.

This thread's silliness levels are reaching new highs. We might not survive the Expedition.

.... silver background and black lines?

Course. As I said open up since the possibility exists, but that's for future generations to puzzle at. Barring turning into a wind elemental whatsit I doubt Mathilde will be around to see it.Maybe? The problem is we currently have only one ingredient that's guaranteed to be able to soak up winds, and to get proper cuisine you're going to need quite a few more than that. Though with that said, if it does turn out to be possible then I'd love to read a scene of Mathilde sitting down to a meal where everything is crammed with ulgu.
We probably should, if only to to talk about possible leads into the case and whatnot.
I thought it was:
"Magister Weber, we need to escape now!"
"Right away?"
Proceeds to cast Rite of Way.
That's two puns including the 'Right of Way' from driving classes. Always yield right folks * US only?Okay wow. I hadn't even considered the pun potential in "Right a' Way."
That's only slightly below Melkoth level in it's pun and prank potential. XD
