@BoneyM, are late additions to the romance pool possible? Because if they are, I would be completely open to adding Gehenna to the mix.

This one was my suggestion, but I think it has a lot of merit to it. It actually might accomplish something useful in making more diplomacy possible, and it gives an excuse to have extended conversations with the dragon while delivering something useful to it.

The offer to teach it Khazalid option is also a good excuse to revisit the dragon for those that want to see more of the dragon but away from the Romance group. I want to see more of the Dragon, but i don't want it to compete with the actual Romance options.

You're quite right, not sure how I got that mixed. She also gets a significant boost to life lore magic beyond the fact that she's a level 4 wizard as well iirc. She gets +6 in the TT when using life lore.

I don't really understand why a vague "discuss linguistics" (whatever that means) is within two votes of the other linguistics option that is much more concrete in terms of what we'd be talking about. What do people think "discuss linguistics" means exactly?
 
I am of the opinion that dwarves have been rolling nothing but 100's in the doomed hold while Chaos consistently rolls 1's. So now the lost hold is an earthly paradise that avoids excess, plague, murder and everyone is completely open about what they do so there are no plots.

It's a problem you've had to consider yourself recently, and you're surprised to hear this kind of solution coming from a Dwarven set of lips. Gotri's always been radical, but what he seems to be implying is a step beyond that. You wonder if he's always been this way, or if he's being further radicalized by the Karak. "I do hope it never comes to that," you say, "but if it does, it will be very nice to have options. Thank you."

It is so weird how K8P is simultaneously a symbol for the Radicals and the Conservatives. For the radicals, it's because of all the radical things that Belegar has done and authorized. For the Conservatives, it's proof that if you keep the faith for thousands of years it will eventually be rewarded. As BoneyM said at one point, nearly every argument you could make against the idea of reclaiming Karag Dum was made against K8P.

Right, Borek's going to encounter the reality that his Karak is inevitably doomed, and when that happens, he's probably going to go Slayer and won't care who he takes with him.

I do wonder if Gotri is being too pessimistic here. With Belegar's example right there, perhaps Borek will instead decide, "It's my responsibility to spend the rest of my life and have my children spend the rest of their lives and so on figuring out how to do a reclamation, and we'll come back and finish the job in only one or two thousand years."
