Thorek is about to win soooo many one up points from this over Kragg. Gonna be HILARIOUS!!!

Happy to see this rivalry getting back to life!

"Think fast."

You catch it, and frown as the crystal orb glows with a shocking amount of Hysh, a tendril of pure light extruding to wave lazily through the air. "What in the-" you grimace as the Ulgu inside you rebels at so much Light magic in close proximity, and there's a crashing flutter as one of Algard's paperwork dimensions collapses. "Seriously? Did you seriously just demon-check me?"
V I B E Check!

Somehow, I'm in no way surprised that this is a thing.

It went up by 13 for the papers and I'm almost certain you weren't >100 before this turn.
Well, since diffchecker has been letting me save diffs again...
Here's the most recent (which is just the Great Deed addition):
www.diffchecker.com

Diffchecker - Compare text online to find the difference between two text files

Diffchecker will compare text to find the difference between two text files. Just paste your files and click Find Difference!

Going back some...
6-29 to 7-2 has us going from 97 to 110:
Diff Checker

And going back to the hiatus the overall rep doesn't change, just favors remaining
So yeah, assuming there wasn't anything but the papers, 110 is right

Edit for voting:
Edit 2 to remove x's cause i just realized there was a moratorium shit
edit 3 to readd x's :p

You know you've made it in academia when your papers are so good your superiors call hax.

We'd better get that anti-chaos training. If nothing else, we need a supply of those demon-check orbs.

I do hope that doesn't take up an action.

Anti-Chaos training will definitely take an action, but that barely matters - Algard's right that it's very high priority... and probably mandatory for Lord Magisters.

"They're also the complete opposite of Waystones, which scares the shit out of anyone with sense." He scratches at his shoulder, where the angry red of a new scar is visible under his leathers. "If you can interrupt them while they're setting one up, and drag the thing away before they summon reinforcements, you've got a menhir attuned to Ghur but not yet tainted by their rituals. It was a stroke of luck to find one just as you asked for this." You suppress a smile. "I carved out a recess in the side of this one, and you need to fill it with heart-blood of wild animals spilled by the blade I left in it, that's the 'key' you asked for. Wild, mind - nothing domesticated. Once it's full, the chosen subject drinks it, and as long as they drink most of it the transformation should take hold. Tea?"
I'm stunned that the Amber Order needs to steal material components from the Beastmen of all people. Anything they can do that doesn't involve Dhar, the colleges should be able to do better.

I think that this option in particular warrants pursuing, because we need to get more straight answers about all the shit going on with the Eomir if we're going to pursue Waystone politics.

"I've no doubt," he says slowly, "that your manling craft has uses for the substance. But every drop you could spare would be of great value to the descendants of Thungni."

[1 gallon of Vitae expended on experimentation]
Well, we can certainly spare quite a few drops with how long we've had it.

"Some strange tangle of energies one of the other Colleges came up with a few years back."
I love this. What a wonderful callback, and it explains why nobody else did it already. We invented an important part just recently.

The scene with Algard was also great. Bonus headpats for the other papers is sweet.

Got to figure out runes on cloth first, plus the actual runic combinations, but I figure a Runic Nightcap of Nightmare Warding, a Runic Pillow of Good Sleep, and a Runic Blanket of Protection against Awakening are in order. Possibly with a Runic Nightlight of Fuck Off Ghosts and a Runic Teddy Bear of Daemonslaying.
A solid plan for draconic seduction. It's important to share hobbies.

Also, Holy fudge. I'm really glad we went to Algard first. Otherwise, we could've woken up in a cell in time for some very serious conversation.
