could I suggest switching some of those drinking votes to Mathilde showing up already buzzed when the celebration starts from drinking with the Thane and being super weepy and maudlin? because I will continue to fight for this blessed vote option until the end of days. It's too good.

I might just be able to sway a whole 1% of the vote if I keep posting on every page of discussion, determination

also absolutely acceptable. I'm basically happy with any humorous yet heartwarming situation where Mathilde doesn't go full priest of Ranald on this celebration (which to be fair is still pretty humorous and celebratory, so I won't be upset with that, but there are so many possibilities here.)

I don't think gain matters here, there's a lot of people just post and running, probably because they just read the update and none of the discussion.

To be fair, there's a lot of discussion in this quest and normal people probably don't read the whole thread after an update when one hits.

I think it might be a bit rude if the vote for tell/stay silent wasn't literally turning on one or two votes. Like, if that person swapped to 'Remain Silent' then there'd be a perfect tie between that and 'Tell Belegar and Kragg." When it's both that close and that contentious, I think it's understandable for people to want to gently prod voters a little. Not that I'd ever single anyone out of course.

Now, vote 'be maudlin' you sorry excuses for Dawi or else you'll end up in The Book! :mad: :mad:

I'm neutral on most of this vote, but I definitely want to do this:

Why? Because aside from Mathilde, the big group of Ranald worshipers in the expedition is probably among the various human mercenaries. You know, the guys who just rocked in that last battle, rolling 90+ twice in a row? So this should fit in nicely.

While we, ooc, have this information, Mathilde does not. Talking privately to the two dwarfs likely to be able to tell her more is the best way to get more information without being public. I'm going to vote IC and not OOC.

I don't expect a reward, I do expect this to impact our relationships slightly negatively, but Mathilde has a serious need for more context around the WTF that just happened, and using these two as a sounding board is probably going to strike her as safer than empire options.

Because seriously? Voting against telling based on how it will impact the book of grudges? Voting against based on the idea that God possession is dramatically new and different and dangerous? Voting against based on how dwarfs will react to mention of their cousins? Justify IC or admit you are metagaming this whole thing. And no, I'm not accepting 'grey wizards would know' because she didn't when she saw it.

That is... A very bad way to lead or coach, if you are looking for performance. I've quit orgs that were run like this before, because they tend to grind people up and spit them out without ever getting any real productivity out of them. We've delivered the warning, and conveyed disapproval sucessfully. Now we need to convey that we consider this done with, and we will trust her, as long as she doesn't do it again.
