All things considered we got a good supply of troops given that the rest of the Empire is still recovering from the Great War and dealing with it's own problems.

No seriously I think the Old Ones planned around the Great Maw. It's the only way the Halflings make sense, except for the inevitable ending to End Times when a random halfling goes and destroys Chaos forever completely unexpectedly.

Too bad we couldn't play a quest as an Ogre that was somehow 'completed' by the Old Ones, like a failsafe a la Scale and Fang.
Wait that had an option to be an Ogre.............

lolol, it totes did.

Anyhow, I want everyone to know that I've updated the economy sheet. You may note that the chunk o military diplomacy garnered is not on there. That is because after Gruber is dealt with they are immediately heading back home. The Witch Hunter cadre is also going to disseminate back into Ostland, they are not a permanent fixture right now.

Sounds about right. Though I expect we can persuade the Witch Hunters to become a permanent thing in the future. They'd love to have that sort of influence over the army.

A full time halfling chef would be a bad idea in the long term for health reason. Most halflings seem to specialized in fattening but delicious food.

I still remember that blurb in Gaius quest in the background where that Noble lady sorta bloated up from a hourglass figure to a blob because of the halfing cook over the years.

Unless you allocate the halflings to the ogres, who have no concerns about fattening food.

Or unless you put the people getting the food in a grueling regimen of training that would wear any less well fed men to skin and bones. It's different to have a well fed noble getting no exercise compared to someone getting daily workouts.

so perfect for ogers who cant have fat it just turns in to pure muscle

Wonder if we'll meet some high elves later on? There were some in mark of chaos so some may appear.

Well my knowledge of Mark of Chaos is rather incomplete but I believe it's from them that Thorgarr got the body of Asavar Kul which is what got him made into a Daemon Prince.

The mission to get it is what had him start his campaign in the first place to IIRC.
