I highly doubt that the inclusion of even more factions will make the Licori affair
easier or quicker. Indeed in my experience the more actors you have to the more difficult it becomes to solve even the simplest problem in IR and that become even more true when it comes to military operations.
And it is not like we should require their military assistance if our force predictions are even remotely accurate so I really see very little benefit from such an action.

As per orders from Starfleet Engineering, we deployed to Viridia IV, at the coreward end of the neutral zone, where the new listening post was meant to go.
Turns out that the mapping run that was meant to pass over this planet first before we established the facility was never run and there's semi-intelligent life down there. I don't know who fouled this up over on Operations end, but I can't put this facility down without violating, at last count, forty-two Federation laws.

A passing cargo ship reported unusual sensor readings coming from the sixth planet of the Cronulla system. Of course, with the recent demands on the attention of the Explorer Corps, this task has sat for about a year, so I'm not sure what we will find when we arrive.
Tangential: With Enterprise and Sarek on the Licori task forces, we'll only have a guaranteed 4 FYMs giving us consistent updates next year: S'harien, Odyssey, Atuin, and the about-to-be-launched Voshev. Courageous, if repaired by a mobilized heavy industry team, may also be sent to the LBZ to participate. And Stargazer doesn't send us consistent quarterly updates.
I have started making arrangements for an envoy from the Obar to travel to Rigel to meet with the Federation. And even some of the normally taciturn members of the Obar delegation have expressed enthusiasm about the Federation.
We're just super-compatible with them. Like, Apiata or Amarki level compatible in that they're very different from us but fundamentally embrace our core values in ways we can respect and understand.

[X][DOC] Begin developing developing countermeasures for fixed defences (improve minefield rolls) (6 months)
Seems like the most important things for us to be doing at this time. I'm holding the engineers in reserve so they can start the Starbase at Gaen, assuming we get permission. The heavy industry I have preparing materials for a Starbase so we still have parts in reserve in case we need to build another one or replace damaged parts, but I'd be okay changing that.
