[X] Aft Deflector (Industry 2 -> 32) [2 Torpedo Tubes +1 Optional] [2 Cannons + 4 Optional]

My choice is doomed, but i said I'd vote for maximum torpedoes, and by god I will! :D

Lucrehulks don't work with Federation warp drives. The engines are in completely the wrong place, and I struggle to imagine what a lucrehulk with the engines in the right place would look like.
Obviously we can't do a 1 to 1 version but what about Vulcan style ring nacelles?

Realistically the "ship" would be something like a giant ring nacelle and a warp core that can be used to move around space station modules and other large orbital infrastructure which are placed inside it. Perhaps even transporting ships which have suffered major damage to their nacelles and cannot safely or economically be repaired in-situ.

Or be equipped to be a mobile shipyard in its own right.

How about Shrike?

Edit: bird names for arrow hulled classes, aquatic names for half saucers.
Sounds good. And if we fumble the prototype rolls, we'll name the lead ship the UES Kakapo.

Other nice names :
- Johnston, because that's a ship which embodies punching up like few others
- Le Terrible, to use a non-Anglosaxon name and honoring the fastest military ship for more than half a century*.
- Scipio, Romulus Delenda Est
- Alaric, see above
- Visigoth, see above mk2

*Speed record might or might not have been achieved under ideal conditions during trials. It might or might not have also damaged the ship's machinery in the process.

Wouldn't the obvious historical reference if we want to attack Romulus be Hannibal, not Scipio?

Information: We need to talk.
we need to talk.

I have issued multiple infractions for posts made recently primarily under the aegis of Rule 3 and Rule 4.

Rule 3 is straightforward, we ask posters to not insult or demean each other and to engage with their arguements.

If you feel that a post violates the rules the correct response is to report it and move on, moderation will handle it.

Finally because it has come up multiple times at this point, 'X Delenda Est' 'jokes' are viewed very dimly by staff and it would be wise to consider them more carefully in the future.
