Question. Where do the Eastern Dragons fit in between Metalic, Chromatic, and Gemstone?
Lung are part of the Celestial Bureaucracy, and are distantly related to the other dragons but don't fall under those three categories.
there's also the Ferrous dragons(Cobalt, Chromium, Iron, Nickel, Tungsten) that are all Lawful alignements, and Planar dragons(dragons native the the outer planes, for example there's Elysian dragons native to Elysium that have Breath weapons: Sonic energy, inebriation gas )

They are agents of the Jade Emperor, and are likely unrelated to the other Dragons in every way save name. In First Edition, it was implied the Gold Dragons were related, if only because of artwork used and the shared ability for wingless flight, but since then the Gold has resembled them less and less with each edition.....

They certainly do not worship the Draconic Pantheon at all.

Edit Imped.

The dress that was included was stunning; it started off around the collar a bright red and fading to a red so dark it was nearly black at the hem and cuffs. The bustline was modest enough, she supposed, not that she had much of that to show off. It came with a pair of matching undergarments and shoes.

Were those actual rubies on the sleeve and around the collar?

Wow.
Hot take incoming.

If Naurelin ever wore this gift from Tiamat in her half-dragon form, she would probably end up turning quite a few heads.

I suspect I shall have to pull a Mauling Snarks and inflict Dress costumes on the Wards. And yes, they are flawless rubies, with mithril threads.
And now I'm imagining somebody with a Master power telling Tattletale "Never speak again!"

"It's 8pm, and time for the kitsune on top of your television to explode."
>BOOM!<
"Cor, how'd he know that?"
"Lucky Guess."
(from the distance "I'm Okay!")
<cue the Liberty Bell march, and "Monty Python's Flying Circus!">

......Perhaps a Separate Dress Costume payed for by the PRT would be acceptable, yes?
*takes a breath to calm the hell down*

Yes, that would be acceptable. I'm sorry for being so vocal, it's just that the dress was a personal gift and as such ought to be worn for personal business.

I like the description I read somewhere about Tiamat's hoard : The amount of gold in it alone is equal to a sphere 100 meters in diameter, solid. It would take your average adventuring party some 10,000 years to count everything, and maybe another 1,000 to go through the magic items. Tiamat knows every last item, its worth and location, and unless she has freely given it away, it is cursed to cause maximum misfortune on anyone who possesses it.

Still, I wonder what her most treasured belonging is?

Her most treasured belonging? Make that belongings, a pair of rings, one seemingly made from an onyx, ruby, emerald, saphirre, and opal fused together, and another made of some materiel unknown to any plane. Engraved on the inside of the strange ring is Tiamat's name in Draconic script. The inside of the gemstone ring is also engraved, but what it is is incomprehensible to anyone besides Tiamat, and she isn't telling, if she doesn't erase you from existence for even discovering their existence.

Huh. I would have expected it to be more.

Don't get me wrong, that's a lot of gold. But do you have any idea how much is in even a small planet's core!?
