[X] Agree with space station, we can salvage bits to form a scaffold for the claiming. We should also schedule a meeting with Kuybey, keeping in mind our discussion here. Maybe we can schedule it so that we talk to him while salvaging material. But we should talk to him 1) alone and 2) when we aren't talking to anyone else.
 
Just wondering if the moon base would have to be underground, because a full structure appearing practically overnight would definitely cause reactions from both government groups and wackjobs.

Votes do not need to be in their own post. You can tack them on the end of another post, put them at the start of your post and then write more after them, or even put commentary between individual lines of your vote. Only the part that is on a line that starts with [X] will be counted as part of the vote. - can also appear before [X] and it will sill count as part of the vote, as this is used to help make clarifying indentations.

personally, i want to shamelessly steal Aperture Science Enrichment Center design, as it is peak sci fi imo

So, something like:

[X] Space station, salvage material to build a scaffold.

[X] Use telepathy to schedule a meeting with Kuybey; maybe we can do it whenever we get around to salvaging the material. Keep what we discussed previously in the forum in mind.

And the "Space station, salvage material to build a scaffold" is a vote, as well as all of the next one?

Both of those lines are now part of the same vote. You can see it when you click the New tally button near where the insert quotes button is. Just click New tally and then in the popup that comes up, click the New tally button in that popup, and you can see the votes everyone has made, including your own.

Thanks! That's a nice little feature. Now that I actually know what I am doing:

[X] Get materials for space station
[X]-We don't need to make it air-tight or anything, it'll be claimed/modified anyway. But we do need a window and a sufficiently romantic portion for space dates.

[X] Schedule a Kuybey interrogation
[X]-I don't think we should do it right now; we need a specific meeting date. I figured that it could be as we are salvaging/putting into orbit our station.
[X]-This is probably one of the few times we'll actually talk to him. So we should ask *all* are questions, even the unimportant ones. Keep in mind our forum discussion. I figured that we should decide on specific questions when we get to the interrogation.

Edit: I think this is good for now. If I unintentionally made a voting sin, please let me know and I'll correct myself.

That works fine, but you can actually put the - before the [X] when you're making your votes instead of after, and it'll still work. You can also add as many - as you want if you want to create nested groups.
 
What would Kyubey response to a moon base be since I feel anything that might make people think of aliens would be inconvenient for the incubators

Caring about it gives Kyubey less work to do covering it up, which frees up energy budget it may be willing to spend cooperating with us, or "cooperating" with us, instead of working outright against us because we're costing it energy on a global scale.

It's not like it would cost it significant time, considering how many bodies it has to work with, but running them at once still costs more energy.

@Firnagzen I have a suggestion for future updates: include a spoiler section at the top of each post for the winning vote. Generally there's at least 10 pages of discussion between updates, and the eventual bandwagon vote gets hammered out over several pages and then buried, which can make it difficult for people catching up to understand the decided course of action without reading all the posts up to the next update.

I know there's the contributions from discussion or even votes that didn't win as well, though as I understand the majority vote covers the explicit actions and the rest goes into thoughts and mentality. If there's concerns about it breaking the flow of the story it can be added to this thread only and left out of the story only thread (thus further distinguishing it from using reader mode).

So something like

I mean, haha funny joke with the space station talk, but we've still got a refugee crisis that rather takes priority, yeah? We can build the moonbase after we set things up and start getting those girls re-embodied. :V
