IT was something along the lines of "I want to be someone Oriko would like" Right?(Never read). If so...then we should probably cry a bit.
Pulling straight from the Yen Press translation...
"Who would remember me? It was a lie when I said I was disinterested in everything. Pretending to look down on everybody. But I was jealous. There was nobody who would give me a second thought."

"I wanted to change. I wanted to change into a different me."

[x]"Sorry, there's something I need to do. How about we have that drink tomorrow? Tell Oriko I said 'Hi.'"
[x] Homucomm: "Oriko seems to be recruiting. Kirika mentioned she wanted to hire someone. There's more but it's not something I can talk about right now. We should meet up later."

[x]Start looking for Yuma, right now.
-[x] Check the parks nearest where she is supposed to live and move outwards.

Right, I want to avoid talking about sensitive things on the coobie com.

Maybe we should look into picking up a cellphone and asking Houmura for her number? A simple enough (if possibly pricey) solution that will give us a means of communicating with her when we don't want to risk coobster or anybody else possibly "overhearing" us.

Assuming the incubators' bullshit magitech wouldn't be able to somehow hack into a puny human phone.

What the hell, have a hint. Consider Kirika's canon Wish, and the phrasing of it. Consider implications thereof. Observe that I do not explicitly state that she made that Wish.
Hora Hora.
But didn't Kirika make her wish before Homura looped in canon, meaning nothing we did could have changed it. Or did you retcon that so that she made the wish after Homura loops in?

either way, Oriko was in contact with Kirika before she made her wish. in canon, Kirika takes her time to approach Oriko even after making her wish, so Oriko knowing what kirika's wish is, is a big deal.

If that was the case then Kirika would always have made her wish and Homura would never have had a reason to stop killing her.
Personally, I find Firnagzen's excuse paper thin, but I am willing to accept that he retconned the time of Kirika's wish to be after she contracted. I just wanted to know if that was the case for the sake of my OCD.

On anomalous timelines
Here's the thing. Homura explicitly calls it an irregular/anomalous timeline (depending on translation, chapter 6, page 17), and anomalous timelines exist, as evidenced by the whole guitarist thing, which is implied to happen not-very-often. It follows that Oriko had never contracted before, and similarly, why need Kirika have?

Taking that then as literal, and that Homura is ruthless, as opposed to murderous, well, then, why need Homura kill Oriko if she doesn't contract?

This is dumb, and you should feel dumb. This post has upset Ghandi. Do you feel happy, knowing you have made Ghandi cry? You should. You jerk.

JKJKJKLOLUMADBRO

But seriously, ur dum. I have been awake for over 48 hours, and recall very, very little of the show, and yet I still recognize these things, the anomalous time loops

Dude! It's been over a year since I've seen the series! I'm not going to remember everything from it. That level of disrespect is not called for.

This is debatable. On the one hand, Moid might have been too harsh, on the other, you made Ghandi cry. Much like being a magical girl, its a zero sum system

You need to stop being awake.

Can't, its almost 9. I will sleep at 5 PM. Anyways, the condition of my psyche is not the issue here! Magical Girls created via wish in a crapsack universe fighting undead magical girls so an evil alien race can fight heat death is the issue!

...

Okay, who wants to bet PMMM takes place in WH40K, and that the incubators are secretly working for the necrons? Because the level of grimdark of both settings is about equal.

Go to sleep already.

Also, Kyuubey's working for Tzeentch.
