Sayaka is fully lichbombed, so we can just have her set her soul gem off to one side during the testing and thus avoid the only small wrinkle in my brilliant plan altogether! :V
BTW,

[Q] Punt Homu into timestop and tell her to not come out until she's got Soul Gem protection enchantments for everyb-

*Hands out Soul Gem protection enchantments*

"... Oh, I guess you beat me to... the..."

*Suffering sigh*

*Rolls around in protection-slash-hamster bubble*

"Wehihi~"

"... punch."

Okay, now we need to use grief-clones to imitate other magical girls, and then make it look like "being Sayaka" is infectious
We need to get Sayaka illusion powers.

Then during a fight she uses a clone disguised as Sabrina to take our place.

Then when one of the opponent gucas try to keep kiting us and attacking from outside our range, real us sneak around and Grief hammer that guca, but we pretend it was the 'real' Sabrina who did it (so Sayaklonebrina would fly around doing silly hand motions).

Then we can pretend we had a mid fight power up and extended our range.

Then Sayaklonebrina hams it up shamelessly since we're gonna be the ones paying the price for anything she says.

I'm not certain where I was going with this.

You were trying to get Sayaka to steal Kyouko's job, obviously. :V

Hey, if the Sayaklones are all Sayaka, if they share senses and everything they know and such... does that mean they're like Pain back when Pain was cool and his super cool eye powers were actually sight related powers?

Basically, wouldn't having lots of clones allow Sayaka to see potentially an entire battlefield at the same time, from many angles?

Talk about having eyes on your back. And on your sides. And underneath. And above. Caw caw.

So you want Sayaka... to train Sayaka.

"I'm sure I can do that, and I've got you here and I'm a clone anyway, but... you know."

It seems like there is some autonomy going on, unless Seykuu's screwing with us.
I'd be so proud.

Hmm.....
Nah.
I want Sayaka to train Kyouko who will train Sayaka. Obviously.

It's unlikely for Homura to have a FN P90 (not used by any Japanese forces, nor by any American organizations you'd expect on any of the nearby military bases), but she does have a MP7A1 and a DSA SA58 FAL pistol in rebellion.
Because it was in Rebellion, however, none of those were real, just creations of her barrier. Which explain why she's got a bunch of obscure or anachronistic weapons in the movie as opposed to the JSDF/US standard issue stuff she uses in the series, like the M9, M249 and AT4.

Homura, The Gun Aficionado: Confirmed.

Not just obscure or anachronistic, but also downright weird or impossible. IIRC we see her use an MG-42 (a belt-fed infantry weapon) that is, for some reason, using the distinctive top-mounted double-drum magazine of the MG-15 (a magazine-fed aircraft weapon that was later put into ground combat).

I'd assume that she was familiar enough with them to just *expect* them to be in her shield though.

As for some of them being obscure or impossible: some things are clearly different in this version of earth. Crazy architecture, Mitakihara existing, etc. What's some different guns being made/popular on top of that?

MP7's are available if she had hit the JSDF base in Chiba (where the Special Forces Group is garrisoned), at the very least. I just find it more likely than a FN P90, which wasn't issued with really any unit based in Japan, and would be unlikely to be used by the Yakuza.

[X] Answer Sayaka:
-[x] It's not going to kill her or drive her insane. She's arguably a near-optimal case for learning about it under the circumstances; with us to support her, we believe she would survive it.
--[x] But survival isn't what she's asking about, is it?
--[x] We... think she'd be better off. In the end, when everything is said and done. But we also think that it'll make the world feel much darker. We don't know exactly how she would react. That scares us.
--[x] We would do our level best to help her come to terms with it.
--[x] We just need her to understand that she would not be the only one hurt if this doesn't stay a secret.
---[X] She touched on it earlier with not being able to talk to her friends: Needing to keep it secret is how we think it could hurt her in particular. That's what she should be weighing.

Weapons used by Germany in World War II that haven't been made for 70 years? Note how in the actual series, which takes place in a reality that it's just Homura's delusion, she uses fairly common weapons.

Homura's barrier had jack-o-lantern zeppelins. It's way more likely that she dreamed up some weird guns, too, then that 2011 Japan had a bunch of 1930s German guns laying around.

If Clone Sayaka's gem reflects Sayaka's gem to the point where we can cleanse Sayaka by cleansing Clone Sayaka's gem, this exercise may not be as safe for Sayaka as we initially assumed. Damage to clone Sayaka's Gem could perhaps also be reflected back on Sayaka's Gem.

I suspect that it's going to turn out that clone Sayaka's gem just mirrors the appearance of the real one, so we can't cleanse it.

I think we probably can't cleanse clone Sayaka since it should just be an image of grief rather than actual grief.

[X] I know you can handle it, and that some things will make a lot more sense for you. But I also think that it'll make the world feel much darker.

[X] Answer Sayaka:
-[X] You believe she can handle it. Not alone. But her current circumstances? Just about optimal.
-[X] If she can trust you, you'll do your best to help her come to terms with it.
[X] During the fight
-[X] Hang back, let Sayaka strut her stuff
