"Good mourning?"
"Good mourning!"
"We've cried the whole night through, good mourning, good mourning to you."

[X] Good Mourning Mitakihara!
- [X] Invite Kazumi for Radio Morning Asunaro too.
- [Q] Impersonate the G4n7z Sphere Radio Taiso scene
[X] After that conversation, : Kazumi, Niko:
-[X] Ask about Hijiri, share that you want to try talking with her. Defer to them.
--[X] Ask about mealtimes at Kanna family table. You might share food with Hijiri sometime.
--[X] Delay if they want to sleep in a bit.

[X] Mami: read Mami in on your 4-space experiments.
-[X] Walk Mami to school.

[X] Grief:
-[X] Is yesterday's enchanted Grief still primed?
--[X] If not, enchant enough Grief for a Privacy Sphere.
-[X] Maintain sensors / utility fog in 4-space.
-[X] Insert bulk water and PET bottle 4-space. Observe behavior.

[X] Telepathy (not too early!)
-[X] Give a randomly selected person a salient compliment
-[X] Hijiri (unless Kazumi or Niko disagree)
--[X] Be polite.
--[X] Offer an update on Anri.
--[X] Ask about her Grief levels.

[X] Warn and visit O&K.

Checking the durability of the privacy construct would be a busywait step. Removing for now!

Compressing!

Kanna family research. We need to understand and get a better idea of how to connect. Start with basics. Adding!

Water is the fundamental stuff. If it fails, water is easier to clean up than many other bulk masses. Safe for Soul Gem contact. Another object inside with the water will let us see how motion works in there. An empty PET bottle is likely right here in the apartment, or outside. It interacts simply with water, and should also be fairly easy to remove. We can also use 'WATER POWERZZ' as a cutsey trump in conflict with hilarious success? Adding!

So for our first 4D space science package we're going with the mystery goo container?

Nothing wrong with that.

Also no using clones to pretend to be your own parents. Too much risk of a Wang Fire situation.

[1] where the player character setting herself on fire is not only a recurring tactic, but it has always helped.

And also where they took the smuck bait option in the dungeon and rolled so well they became actual royalty - not fake royalty - retroactively.

Wait she was also a meguca - Sabrina needs to figure out how to be a planeswalker to give her a hug!

The "random compliment" thing seems like it would just be awkward and confusing for whoever was on the receiving end, and probably not endear them to us. Can we not?

Hn. If we're doing the Good Morning Mitakihara/Asunaro/Kasamino/.../etc Radio Show! thing, we could always start up the random compliment thing as part of playing up the Radio Show thing? Like, in our first official "broadcast" we say something about how all listeners have automatically been subscribed to our Daily Complementary Call Raffle, where one lucky listener per day will automatically receive one (1) random complement by telepathy-call, and you can opt out by texting "Leave" to this brainmail number?

It preserves the level of bullshit, while at the same time- if someone is on our Good Morning Everyone! call list, they probably won't find it super weird, because, well, Sabrina- and also they'd have a bit of warning so it's not weird weird?

Too late for that vote.

Never mind it isn't really a quest.

Since you're asking: no.

While I don't like it myself, this isn't really constructive criticism. It's just a flat out rejection, and I don't think it has much purpose other than making someone feel bad about suggesting something.
**shrug** Apparently bad suggestion is bad. Noted.
This isn't Discord, you don't use asterisks to make your words bold. ;p

But, on a serious note, my issue with this is that it feels like a bit too much. Like, playing a bit of a prank like this is okay, but, if we get too crazy about this stuff we'll just wind up being annoying instead. People generally don't like it when others treat every single day like April Fools, haha.
EDIT: Honestly, doing the 'good morning mitakihara' again might be a bit annoying too? Not sure, though. For us questers it's been a long time between each time we've done it, but in-universe, it might be getting obnoxious. Or maybe I worry too much, haha.
Doing something to be a little more careful about the random complement part of the vote might be a good idea, though, given the volatility/potential awkwardness of some of the random selection list.
Honestly, I don't think I like the random compliment that much in the first place. Or at least, not in it's current iteration. I reckon that on most people, it'd come across as more awkward than anything. And some(the people that rather dislike us) might simply get irritated or even angry instead. Also, with it being randomly generated, it feels rather shallow. Not genuine.

I'd drop the random compliment part completely: complimenting just for sake of being random just cheapens the value of the compliment at best and makes it look like we're trying (badly and annoyingly) to force us in good graces with anybody and everbody at worst.

Edit: pinging @LadyLynn because it's also a reply to her post, although I'm not sure if SV pings on edits *shrug*

That's a fair note. I suppose I read it a bit differently, in that the sort of thing I suggested was approximately the way a rather large number of the intra-group meme-traditions were born for my anime club/wider social network at my school. On a frequent basis. It's a touch over-top but not excessively nor uncharacteristically so for most of the people I know- although that's something of a skewed statistic from the start, to be fair. Er, beyond the standard "if I've read the state of affairs right" disclaimer, of course. And the "most people being occupants of literally the school dorm known for being the weird", of course, heh.

Anyway, I wasn't exactly actually suggesting starting the radio station, more like using this as a one-off jumping-off point to explain the random-complement-of-the-day-if-we-keep-it-in-the-vote and also using it to do a bit of including Asunaro in our social network, then mostly dropping everything but the random complements except for special occasions. But yeah, I could see how it may be a bit much.

I mean, we do have a reasonably large pool of nice things we legitimately think about a lot of the characters. If we did want to keep the random complement thing, narrowing it down to the set of people we have legit complements about- and not even just necessarily complements, but people we want to remember to say "thanks, you're awesome and we really appreciate everything you do for us" type of stuff- would probably solve the shallow complements part, at least. Er, and keeping it to "people we're on friendly terms with and haven't shown that mere reminders of our existence irritates".

If we wanted to start getting people used to Sabrina saying nice things about them, we'd have to start somewhere. Just the same way as people get used to Sabrina's SCIENCE! talk tangents, basically, yeah?

Though, whether or not we want to add Complements McGee to the list of Sabrina's nounjective titles is I suppose it's own question.

... which despite my long post about, I don't actually have too strong of an opinion on, tbh. Heh, whoops, end of the year, feeling chattery, procrastinating homework, you know how it is.

-[X] Kazumi, Niko:
--[X] Ask about Hijiri, share that you want to try talking with her. Defer to them.

-[X] Hijiri (unless Kazumi or Niko disagree)

[X] Grief:

--[X] Test how long the enchantment lasts.
-[X] Keep an eye on your 4-space with grief fog and sensors.

Mixed Phoenixian's and Onmur's votes a bit. I thought it was weird how Phoenixian's vote had us go GOOD MOURNING MITAKIHARA first thing, and then ask Kazumi and Niko that we could talk later if they needed more sleep, and then place a 'not too early' condition on the other telepathy, despite us already haven woken up everybody. Also, the 'good mourning' pun doesn't actually work because 1: it's vocalized, this pun only works if you see it in text, 2: It's in poor taste because plenty of the people we're talking to actually have things to mourn, and 3: We're talking in Japanese.

So I pretty much took Onmur's vote and added some chunks of Phoenixian's vote to it. Also, I changed the Hijiri thing a bit to ask about a bit more than just Grief. After all, she's on the run right now. She's very unlikely to be in grief danger right now(it's only been a day), so I'm more worried about her missing out on other basic necessities.

The only thing that worries me about the vote about Hijiri is I doubt she'll talk with us if she believes we'll go tell Niko immediately after.
