I actually thought about it yesterday, and... if we introduce them as 'the Kures', isn't there a chance the Pleiades will think they're sisters?

(Even if they look nothing alike, this is animeland after all).

Well, up until Kirika makes a decent impression of a tomato, so maybe for a second or two.

Two things: One, I'm not sure about introducing O&K with a joke line, though I'm throwing it in my vote for now.

Two... this is so perfect, though. We were the ringbearer, and Mami was witness when Kirika put the gold ring on Oriko's finger.

//Thoughts here: Way I see it, this joke works better when it's just delivered in a flat and offhand way. So Kirika and Oriko Kure (or Kure Oriko and Kirika once translated) without reference that anything was ever different keeps it properly low key and only noticeable by people's reactions to the joke.

//I would have a "hand" joke here but I think the seriousness of situation really requires limiting ourselves. (alas)

Kazumi's magic creates effects which duplicate the apparent effects of magic used by other magical girls. You'll note that she hasn't tried copying the way we cleanse people, and that her first action on seeing the chibi was asking if the effect had a name - you can think of her power as being able to emulate moves rather than to copy powers. It does not do the same kind of metaphysical "I am now using your power" that Sayaka apparently does that doesn't work on Sabrina's power.

Sayaka copied Kazumi's power and would be using it to do the same thing that Kazumi does.

Expand, generalize, and make open-ended. Instead of suggesting one thing and closing, quickly suggest several things, imply continuation, and explicitly encourage brainstorming. Our votes right now don't decide what we'll be doing or offering, they provide guidance that will help the brinapilot make appropriate suggestions and proposals to foster creativity among the rest of the group. Other people are some of our biggest resources, and we (at least I) don't have a good grasp of what the other four Pleiades can do; our proposals need to be sufficiently general to capture what they can do once we learn about it.

Are we going to be doing the infosharing or planning under a privacy bubble, or not worrying about it this time?
 
The only way I could see it being safe to share metaknowledge in the open like that is if we claimed it was actually from Oriko's precog.
