"I'm a hypocrite," you say cheerfully. "Remember when I insisted on helping to cook despite being a guest here?"

"That's true!" Mami says, giving you a fond look. She taps you on the nose. "Bad Sabrina."​

In Sabrina's defense she was looking at staying potentially indefinitely as (effectively) a dependent whereas we know they're just staying for a few days unless something crazy happens.

And from the Discord : Well, i imagine Mami and Sabrina, in a few years, experimenting with soul lewding. Might never happen, but my mind is dirty.

Also, I wonder how much fine control Kazumi has for all 5 chibi clones? It doesn't seem much since 4 of them were just busy being cuddle pillows. Did the 100m range get copied too?

Sabrina really needs to try to be a little more gentle when she's doing that....


We should check and make sure that this isn't making Mami uncomfortable. If she's okay with continuing, then we should see how far from the other end of the ribbon we can reach.
 
Alright. Before we end the ribbon experiment we should at least try to see if we can control grief in the vicinity around the ribbon or if it has to be touching. If it fails on the first try we should specifically focus on pushing our magic out of the ribbons in an aura around them and try a second time.
 
So do we have any ideas for taking some of the load off Mami for future experiments? So far the only one I can think of is using Sayaka ribbons at the same time to see if that reduces the effect.

Though I did just get an idea. If our soul is so metaphysically close to Mami, can we sense and manipulate grief from around her gem when she's out of our range? Can she send ribbons out of our gem?

Yes, this would be terrible. Unleasing the Kazumipocalypse by accident would be terrible.

Unless we claim credit and say it was on purpose. Then it's OK!
 
Idle thought, but maybe have Kazumi try to copy the enchantment booster?

If she can make fully functional copies of the grief clones that aren't grief-y, she might be able to do the same with Sabrina's other constructs.

And if she can, we'll have to test if they fall apart if they get too far away from her; if they don't then that opens up possibilities.

We should have Kazumi and Sayaka copy things once we can get them both at once.

The Privacy Field is an important one.
 
Kazumi copies effects.

I'm pretty sure she partly copied Sabrina's multitasking, in so far as it relates to making a Chibi.

But that's the beautiful thing. By making multiple Chibis, she's partly copying Sabrina's multitasking multiple times. So she can make as many Chibis as she goddamn wants. Probably more than we could control. :D

This. It's not entirely clear if it's painful or just sensationally overwhelming - one means we immediately stop all testing, the other means we take it slow and only when Mami's okay with it, and hopefully we're able to get her used to it enough that we can do it more regularly without any significant discomfort for her.

Because it is remarkably useful, but Mami is more important to us than saving the world.
 
We should probably demonstrate our grief utility fog whilst on this hunt so that we can start having it deployed 24/7 at least while we're not meeting anyone new.
