Honorifics. Sakura-chan and Sakura-besugiru. :V

Edit: It turns out that besu and sugiru are actual words (according to Google, at least), so let me clarify: I was just making a Best Girl joke.

More seriously, this is why nicknames exist, although honorifics could theoretically be used to distinguish.

Disclaimer: This Witch is not an expert on Japanese culture.

Besu gaaru probably more accurate "Beh-su gah-ru" vs "beh-su gee-ru"

It was posted, silly cat.

TOO LONG AGO

If that's the case, then there's no reason that we need to develop ribbon-link capability this morning, is there?
I mean, if we can do the ribbon link, that may imply the ability to channel our magic through Mami's ribbons. If Mami can feel us on the other end, then we can move on to having Mami let go, but still maintain, and see if she can still feel it.

"What, no. It's a yellow string-"

*Looks at ribbon*

*Looks at ribbon*

*Blushes intensely*

"I-it's almost as b-bright red as the one c-connecting Madoka and Homura."

"E-ehhhh?!"

*Paralyzed*

That's absolutely an avenue of research worth pursuing. I'm just not sure if trying to do it on our way to school is the best time for it. If there's no urgency, then it would probably be more practical to experiment with it after school.

Bring it up again sometime soon, tomorrow morning works.
HINT HINT.

TBH, I'm considering editing Godwinson to explicitly do some science before school. It sounds like it won't take long, and we can make up time by flying if necessary, or by doing it in the time freed up by making breakfast before Mami wakes up.

But last time we did MaidBrina and breakfast in bed, things ended terribly! Definitely needs more rom, less com.

Also I just finally got around to watching the first season of Wakfu
Is it just me or does time magic just always fucking end in tragedy? Nox, like Homura, would have done nothing wrong retroactively if fate didn't actively conspire to completely bone them.

A key difference here is that we won't be suddenly bursting in on some other couple during their cuddle time. :p

I think pretty much every story involving time travel has included some sort of ironic twist where it makes things worse instead of better. Otherwise it would too convenient a deus ex machina to solve every problem.

[X] Wake up before Mami. Use grief to cook breakfast without getting out of bed and serve Mami breakfast in bed, possibly in the form of a MaidBrina if we think Mami would be comfortable with that. Help Mami make a lunch to swap with the Asunaro crew, like Kazuza suggested.
[X] Radio Mitakihara Morning News, your one-stop shop for all the latest on your way to school!
-[X] Bring everyone up to speed on Asunaro plans.
-[X] Ask about news or plans from everyone else, keep everyone on the same page.
[X] Find a good opportunity to test channeling your magic through one of Mami's ribbons. Ask for Mami's ribbon like a knight asking for a lady's favor.
[X] After seeing Mami to school, set an alarm so you have enough time to spend at least half an hour in Kazamino before leaving for Asunaro.
-[X] Head to Warehouse-kun to do some science.

The thing about Time Travel is that, logically, if you're able to go back in time, even with consequences, unless those consequences are literally world shattering it's such a huge net positive it starts stretching the imagination for things it can't fix. It ends up running into the same problem that writing a Superman story on a deserted planet would - it's all fine and dandy for the ending, but if Superman and his opponent start out on a deserted planet he has no reason not to just go full Goku-fucker and punch the supervillain of the week out the other side of the planet. Likewise, there's no reason for Homura not to keep going back and back again and again until she succeeds, unless there's some mechanism which makes it impossible for her to succeed through that exploit. And while she's at it, why not tie herself to a couple biologists and yank them back in time with her until they're able to cure cancer, AIDS, and lupus, all at the same time, and flavor it cherry for shits and giggles?

Honestly Steins;Gate probably had one of the least contrived time-travel systems out there, and even then they had to throw in the Attractor Field Theory. Honestly if Okabe kept trying he was bound to push out of the Beta universe into some kind of Theta Universe where nobody dies or whatever. It's obvious they were trying to make as little use of Diabolus ex Machina as possible.

So I want Ribbon Science in the vote, but some wording choices I see are... well, choices.

[X] Prepare breakfast without leaving your bed. Serve breakfast for you and Mami in bed.
[X] Tell Mami about your idea that she could help you extend your range with your ribbons, and remind her you need to cook lunch for Kazusa.
-[X] Do both things together during the morning. Ask Mami for a ribbon to keep practicing later, if that'd help.
[X] Morning Telepathy everyone as usual, but don't wake up Sayaka too early.
[X] Tell everyone not in the know about Asunaro on the way to school.
-[X] And warn that you'll be practicing magic, so you might miss some calls.
-[X] Hug Mami goodbye and go do that.
[X] Before starting, set up and alarm to contact Kyouko, give yourself time to hang around Kasamino, pick up Kazusa, and still be back for lunch.
