It'd be a Shakespearian tragedy; Hat-chan's ojou-sama doesn't approve and keeps her in the guilded cage, but Sabrina steals her away in the night as they elope. A pox is placed on both their houses, blah blah blah, The hat's destroyed by Homura who's fed up with Sabrina's antics, and Sabrina poisons herself to be with her lost love.

"Sabrina."
"Can't hear you. Dead."
"SABRINA!"
"Ow, you didn't have to kick me!"
"Get up, that wasn't even poison, you just microwaved tea. Which is almost as bad, but not lethal."
"How can I go on in this world without Hat-chan?"
"...Ugh. Sabrina, look."
"....Is that jingly keys? Hehehehehehehe ^_^"
"Homura we're scheduling an appointment for her immediately."
"Understood." *Beep*
"...Why do you have a neurosurgeon on speed-dial?"
"..." Homura timestops away.
 
...worse yet, they were all at least half crazy already. Really, she holds herself together pretty well, all things considered.
 
...you know, it's perfectly plausible that someone who has effectively been alive for fewer days than fingers on her hand might not be immediately hit by feelings of attraction in the midst of witch-battles, saving everyone's lives, dealing with a fucking precog, keeping everyone from breaking down, and speed-networking amongst the Maximum-Paranoia community.

It could very well just be that she's too focused on a plethora of other things and responsibilities for the time being to have much capacity for romance or attraction. Or she's basking in the novelty of having friends (considering that, thanks to amnesia/whatever, she hasn't had any until a few days ago) that it'll take some time before she has the capacity to feel beyond platonic relationships.

Either way, Mami herself is in no position to have a healthy relationship with anyone right now. Once she's no longer plagued by severe abandonment and loneliness issues, then there can be some kind of relevant debate. For now, there's no point in mulling the issue over.

Well, if you want to put romancing Mami ahead of, say, keeping everyone alive, then by all means. But seeing as we haven't done that at all thus far...

Also, your definition for "walls of text" is absurd. Leave it for the actual walls of text, lest the term become meaningless.

You're hand-wringing over nothing.

And you're right that your last post doesn't really qualify for wall of text compared with other examples. I suppose it's just force of habit making me associate the two.
