Slightly insane, murderous, or terrifying thoughts happen to everybody. What you do is just shake it off and go on with your day.

So guys. When somebody says we should do something that you think is a bit messed up, and it's not a dominant vote or anything, pay it no mind and go on with your day. Politely state why you think it's dumb if you want, but if that doesn't work it's not like an internet argument has ever persuaded anyone of anything.

And don't with the calling people out like that. It accomplishes nothing.

Yo, let's do this the usual way. This is gonna be so fuckin fluffy.

[x] Mirror Mami's expression. What does she want to do?
-[x] Poke her and glare playfully at her if she responds by asking what you want to do.
--[x] Making dinner with her versus having dinner here with everyone... You love both prospects. Perhaps here today, at home tomorrow?

[x] Continue to be obviously affectionate with Mami. The two of you have some great friends, don't you.

{Push some of Mami's positive buttons! Point out all the friends she has now! Be fluffy! Push a little bit past her basic response of "whatever Sabrina wants" if she gives it, then give the fluffiest possible response!}

And don't with the calling people out like that. It accomplishes nothing.

You are correct. Post is deleted.

Maybe tomorrow drop by Kasa... Mino...

Mami.

K uh... Ig we telepathy Kyouko and figure out how she's doing at some point tomorrow.

We still need to discuss the training situation with Mami, first.

Tentative schedule for tommorow:

•Wake up.
•Breakfast with Mumi.
•Do some enchantment practice at home, help Mami wrap up her schoolwork if there's anything left.
•Talk to Bennouna.
•Talk to Mami about Sayaka training with Kyouko, reconfirm the cleansing trip with everyone.
• Schedule a time to talk to Kyouko.
• Make Homura's Clear Seed.
• Contact Tokyo, ask when they'd prefer for us to show up and discuss things (doesn't have to be today).
• Pick up Sayaka.
• Cleansing trip.
• Come home.
• Go talk to Kyouko.
• Go check on Oriko.
• More fluff until sleep.

I feel like suggesting one choice over another kind of takes away from it being her decision. She'll just go with our suggestion.

[x] If Mami chooses to leave, try to convince Homura that she doesn't have to. Wouldn't she rather stay? It's easier to protect Madoka from inside the house, after all.
-[x] Before leaving, make Homura a Clear Seed. Step outside for a moment for privacy, if need be.
-[x] Go home and have dinner with Mami whilst being extremely affectionate.
-[x] If Mami has no other plans for the night (homework?), suggest trying to work on some enchantments.
[x] If Mami chooses to stay, spend dinner being casually affectionate with her insofar as you can while observing dinner table decorum.
-[x] Tell Madoka's parents things that reinforce what a good person their daughter is, and how glad you all are to have her as a friend.
-[x] Take available opportunities to say things that will remind Mami that she has quite a few good friends now.
-[x] Where possible, try to subtly encourage the MadoHomu agenda.

There's a limit to making her choose. In a healthy relationship not everything is one person's decision. We made her pick breakfast this morning. And there's a reason I presented it the way I did rather than saying "let's stay here." What I'm trying to say here is "there's a limit to pushing Mami and making it a routine thing will reduce its effectiveness. Instead, we should push in some instances and suggest middle grounds in others. We already did a big push scene today."

Also, frankly? I think this will be good for her.

So, I respect your suggestion (though I'm a tad miffed you'd think I didn't consider it D: ) but I do think this is the right way to do things here.

If she were really uncomfortable with the prospect she wouldn't be giving us the look she is.

Is custom in Japan to bring a dish if you're invited to dinner?

[] You didn't know you'd be here for dinner, otherwise you'd have brought something. Ask if you could borrow the oven, and you can Mami can cover dessert?

I'm basically hedging a bet that if something like that is reasonable, Mami will go "Making dinner with me + having dinner here with everyone + (lightbulb over head) = happybrina.gif!"

*Sighs*Would rather try to get some stuff done, but alittle more WAFF can't hurt I suppose, I'll try not to be Sabrina's sick and twisted part in the future.

TBH, while I see the motivation behind the huge votes, we've been getting much better results out of short votes recently.

[] Mirror Mami's expression. What does she want to do?
-[] Poke her and glare playfully at her if she responds by asking what you want to do.

[] If she wants to stay:
-[] HUGS.
-[] Be friendly with friends. Be a good guest.
-[] Ship MadoHomu.

[] If she wants to leave:
-[] Ship MadoHomu.
-[] HUGS.
-[] Dinner, enchantment practice, homework, bed.

That said,
[x] Kaizuki

Remember, making decisions is stressful for Mami. We do want to build her up, but throwing her into the deep end is a bad way to do that. And I think that this would be good for her. She needs more friends than just us, yes?

Yeah I'd rather do a short vote to be honest...These long ones are kind of an eyesore when you see them all the time, variety is the spice of life isn't it?

EDIT: Vote change

[x] Kaizuki

for now.
