Is that canon or fanon? I don't recall anything in the series suggesting that.

Also given the meguca lifestyle Madoka could be a smoking, drinking, druggie mobster and still have a goodish shot at outliving most of her meguca friends. Making sure she outlives Homuruns suicidal butt is mostly a measure of making sure she doesnt lick nuclear reactors or eat zombie meat.

Random thought about cloning Madoka sans Potential, letting Original Doka Wish and keeping Clone Doka for Homu.

Another thought: Getting Homura to confess to Madoka... that she wants to protect her forever. Silly: Give Homu a pink set of armor and have Madoka name her as her Knight.

But what is the currency exchange rate between Madohugs and Mamihugs?
"I want to exchange Mamihugs for Madohugs, please."

"OK."

*Hugs Mami*

*Hugs Madoka*

"A pleasure doing business with you."

"The pleasure is mine."

"..."

"I should go home now."

"Let me show you out."

"... Wait, I didn't get any hugs!"

"..."

"... Despair. Madohugs have led me to despair."

I did something with that recently... where was it... ah.

You're wrong, because the wood in the lamp's stand and the wood in one of the bed's legs came from the same tree, and when she cuts the metaphorical bullshit of the folded-50,000-times-wood in the lamp the sympathetic califragilism will also destroy the bed leg, causing the overburdened corner of the bed to crash to the floor with enough force to break the floor that was weakened by termites. Subsequently the bed will fall through the floor and land in just the right spot to knock over the candle in the same relative area on the lower floor without putting it out, which will set the bed on fire, destroying it and its honor. Bereft of that most important of characteristics, the bed's brothers and sisters will attack Kyoto to rescue Lord Nobunaga, but they will fail in their endeavor and he will be executed. Being beds instead of Samurai they will be unable to avenge his death since they cannot wield Katanas, so they will commit mass Sudoku.

I'm not entirely sure that she hasn't fucked herself over with a bad Wish. Sayaka's Wish makes her a power copier, but all three of the local meguca have powers that are not amenable to copying: Sabrina's power is unavailable, and both Mami and Homura are powerful because they've put lots of time into training their specific power, and Sayaka can't copy any of that training. Unless we find out tomorrow that copying a power lets Sayaka keep it in some sort of power-Rolodex that she can access at any time, then she's probably pretty screwed in the long term in terms of power.
Kyubey grants the letter of your wish, and honors the spirit of it to the extent that your karmic potential can power it.
The spirit of Sayaka's wish was frustration at being powerless and needing to always be saved. That's when her power will be strongest. Right now she's not in trouble and not alone and not helpless. That's why she's weak right now. Her wish looks at her training with friends, compares that to how she felt when her house burned down, and says, "No, this is fine, she has this."
Put her up against Walpurgisnacht with the other magical girls KO'd, and that wish instead says, "This is not okay. Wish not fulfilled." And Sayaka goes full on Copy Kitty Turbo.

Yea, um, Karmic Potential is a thing, and Sayaka has very little of it. I'm pretty sure the current drawbacks on her power are already reflective of the height of her ability regarding this particular powerset. If there's any room for improvement, it's probably by drawing attention to the fact that her copying works by scanning the souls of those she touches, and so she can probably learn to 'remember' a routinely copied powerset so that she can copy it at a distance without needing that physical contact, or perhaps learning to copy two powers together and combining them in unique ways (though probably with higher corruption cost).

Random idea: Cleanse someone's Soul Gem (Mami's?) by pressing our Soul Gem to hers and using our powers to make it look like our Soul Gem is absorbing Grief like a Grief Seed does.

A minute later, 'startle' and 'remember' to cleanse our Soul Gem the normal way.

Do this tomorrow in front of Sakura.

Kyouko is pepperoni. Sayaka is anchovies (which everyone hates). Homura is pineapple. Madoka loves it but everyone is kinda meh.

Madoka is frosting. It's deliciously sweet, but it's not a suitable flavor for a Pizzeria Magi, so Homura vowed never to let her place an order.

This sounds like a short spinoff.

KB grants Wishes to girls, for which in turn they become Pizzeria Magi, giving flavor to the world. What it doesn't tell them, is that once a Pizzeria Magi overuses her pizza, her flavor explodes out of her and into the universe at large, leaving her colourless and flavorless, an empty husk of what she used to be, and craving for the taste of pizza.

The Incubators are literally feeding off their Contracts.

Now, a catastrophe in the making, Walpurgisnacht, the Pizza Hut Witch, which has, through mysterious means, aquired ALL the flavours of pizza, will arrive at Pizza Magica to consume ALL the pizza.

Every Pizzeria Magi must work together to create the most delicious Pizza capable of satisfying this horrifying pizza monster, else face their flavourless doom.

But when their pizza is not enough, a new Pizzeria Magi appears just in the brink of time! A girl as mysterious as Walpurgisnacht, who also seems to embody ALL the flavours of pizza.

Together, they must make the final push, cook the Final Pizza, and satisfy Walpurgisnach's hunger!

For pizza!

Meanwhile, a mysterious figure watches the fate altering proceedings from a nearby sweets shop, a single crow perched on their shoulder, staring just as attently at the Pizzeria Magi, unaware of their imminent doom. Sweet, sugary DOOM.
