Nah, that's for forcing someone to tell the truth. Useful for interrogation, but far less subtle. Not viable for Social.
We should sell it anyway. I'm sure we can Witch up a decent automatic forge or 3D printer or something to turn the bars into gold chain, which is fairly easy to sell. It'll also make us less of a mooch, which I'm in full support of.

We don't really need to sell gold. We grabbed as much money as we wanted from the Yakuza before burning the rest.
The amount of money Sabrina's carrying on herself can basically be described as "enough unless we go into business". In which case we take over the Yakuza.
But we've got enough for anything we want short of that.
Diamonds need to be tracked to be valuable, otherwise it's assumed to be a conflict diamond and you could get arrested for having it. Thank you, Debeers cartel. So unless we want to get into the business of forging certs, we're better off stealing gold from the Yakuza and turning it into gold chain to sell.

Pretty sure anything we make this way would be recognizably artificial, so that wouldn't be an issue, at least...I think.
Alternatively, we might be able to replicate a less controversial gemstone.
And gemstone-sized artificial diamonds are still reasonably legitimately expensive. Nowhere near that of natural diamonds, but still thousands of dollars per carat.

-[X] Make yourself an anklet out of gold. Make a Grief construct to assist your Enchanting. Then use that to enchant the anklet with 'Lie Detection'.

As far as I could tell, the resulting assisted enchantment didn't feel noticeably witchy. I don't know if it'd be the same for every grief-assisted enchantment, so I put a line to drop the lie detector if it felt witchy.

Why is the lie detector being witchy that bad? I mean, obviously it would be nice to be able to walk around with one, but for the purposes of verifying Oriko's claim she'll understand if we're up front about using it.
