Chit chat? Prepare for the picnic? Go one more round of sparring?10 to 15 isn't bad for a rookie and a zero-spell mage.
Getting evaluated by Homura and Mami is the obvious next step since it's kinda the point of the meet. What about after that?
Hey, here's an interesting question: how is Homura not automatically drawing us into her time stop every time she gets within our range? Surely she has Grief in her soul gem, even if it's mostly clear here, and doesn't Grief that enters our range automatically become "ours" if we're not actively resisting the effect, like we do in Witch barriers? Or does it not work that way?Reappearing a meter to your left, Homura gives you what you feel is a rather unfairly pointed look. You know it's a spar and you're both pulling your hits and abilities.
nd doesn't Grief that enters our range automatically become "ours" if we're not actively resisting the effect
Heh, then in response to Homura's magic sidestep we should have pointedly wiggled her Soul Gem in its socket. At the same time, though, I'm wondering if there is a way to automatically get a "grip" on any Grief that enters our range? Something like that would make it much harder to sneak up on us using stealth, time stop, or even super-speed abilities. We don't automatically grab people's gems, so I don't think so?
I'm pretty sure we only pick up unclaimed grief within range, so Witches grief is harder, and grief in a gem would be similar.
Well, if you didn't know any better, you'd say Homura preens in her own quiet way.
I do.So, question: Do people actually find chibi's... cute? Because to me they're mostly just mildly disturbing.

Well, we have the former, not the latter.Especially if you think of them as more "One year old toddler versions", than "ANIMU CHIBI DESU!"
Turns out, flying didn't matter. Not against Unlimited Musket Works. You can't dodge... but she doesn't fire.
She winks at you, and tilts it away.
Sayaka's magic sparks blue, and a large kite shield materialises in a shimmering display of light. "Got it!" she says triumphantly, looking up at you.
"Down!" Sayaka barks. You're already jerking to the side.
Just in time for a sharp bang to reach your ears. Sayaka's blade launches past you.
"Sayaka!" you call. "Gonna set up a shot for you! Homura behind me!"
...
Sayaka sets her teeth and slams her shield into the ground.
Anvil to your hammer.
...
Sayaka yells and charges through the vacated space. Right at Homura.
I'm quite satisfied with the performance we saw out of her - and I think she got the intended lesson of not just charging in.
Mami smiles at you. "What next, Sabrina?" she asks. "We still have time."
I'd suggest rewording "Dibs on you!" to something less suggestive.Hmm. Another round later, I think?
-[x] Hug Mami more. "Dibs on you!"
Homura never actually uses her Shield except that one time with the magic barrier in episode 1. I doubt she has any advice to offer to a mainly melee combatant.--[x] Actually, Homura, you have a shield. Any advice to Sayaka about using hers?
Why are we asking this? Feels pointless.[x] Telepathy Mami.
-[x] Homura mentioned not feeling comfortable sharing her power with Sayaka yet. Hopefully she'll come around with a bit more time?

My main problem is that, if I remember correctly, we're trying not to be overly romantic with Mami since we don't want to pressure her into thinking that we want to start a more intimate relationship.(1) meh. Homu said it. I don't see a real problem with it. The more paranoid we are about stuff like that the more paranoid brina is. That's okay but it's also... We're fine as-is.
Good. Now we need to analyze our failings and proceed to correct them. I think we could have done better in the "flying brick" department. At least twice we deliberately took bullets to the body, while on a live situation that could have proved distracting at the least.I'm quite satisfied with the performance we saw out of her - and I think she got the intended lesson of not just charging in.
