[x]I...I just want her to believe that there's another, better way for things to go. She seems to feel that there's only one way for this to end, that it'd be better that way...and that isn't true. I was trying to get her to think about that.
[x]Tell her anything else you can think of about the events of that timeline. How she had trouble with controlling her magic. How she blamed herself, and her magic. How she realized the meaning of her life after fighting for Kirika and helping Yuma.

Try and get her to see that it doesn't have to be this way and it isn't easier or better. That she has value for being herself too. Get her to think about things, and don't let her just accept this. [x] That Oriko... the conclusion she reached was that she wasn't living her life wholeheartedly - both in her personal life, in her feelings for ...that Kirika, and in trying to change events. Oriko puts on the "sinister plotting" act, but that Oriko... when she took action herself, and tried to help someone directly - not as part of some plot, but just an honest attempt to make things better... she wished to find a meaning to her life, and that Oriko found it in trying her honest best to help people, and in spending time with that Kirika.
-[x] And reaching that conclusion, she got far greater control over her powers, and sweet lasers. Really cool lasers. So cool.
--[x] So, uh, I don't know the whole story there. My knowledge of other timelines is spotty. But it... it seems to me like reaching a state where she feels like she's found a meaning to her life really helped with that Oriko's magic. And... it sounds really sappy, but that Kirika was the meaning of that Oriko's life. So I guess one solution would be for you to use the power of Love to cure her... we really are magical girls, huh?

[X] Oriko wants to believe she doesn't deserve her father's blame, nor all the hate people's been piling on her. She wants to believe she deserves and should live a good life, that it's OK to reach out for help... for love.
-[X] Kirika knows what Oriko needs... but Oriko can't quite get herself to believe she deserves it. If she could get any proof people can live for their own sake, that she doesn't need to validate other people's hate in order to have meaning... then she could accept Kirika's love fully, and be happy with that.
