Have a [X] in your post proper, please and thank you. (Note, mind you, that I haven't said whether LordK's wish will or won't give the specific gem purifying power. I merely said that you'd get a broader palette of powers...)
So, we should get a power suited towards action, and unpredictability. We are going up against Oriko, so we need to make her precog useless. We also need a good offense, for witches/enemy puella, and something that keeps us alive, either mobility or defense. Mobility is probably better, because it seems like it would work better with a wish that would leave us unpredictable, and dodging is generally just better than tanking. I'm not the best at wording things, so I'll just throw my thoughts out there and hope they help.Hello, SV. So it seems that I've decided to throw my hat into the ring and trying a out a Quest.
There's a saying. Villains act, heroes react.
We have here a tabula rasa, a blank slate of a character for SV to control as you will. I invite you to use as much meta-knowledge and reasoning as you like; I will be treating her as an avatar of SV as guided by the votes and a mind state as given by the thread, in any case.
I've always hated that saying.
So. Fair warning. This is not going to be an easy Quest. Oriko is going to be a primary antagonist, for starters, and, well-
Well. Let's just say you'll find out as it goes, eh?
Fair's fair, though. Make a wish. I'll let nearly anything pass, save anything story ending: No pre- or post- cognition for you, no immunity thereof, no "I wish to always succeed", no "I wish for Oriko to drop dead", no Path to Victory for you. Just about anything else is fair game, though! You can wish to 'never become a Witch', or to be able to turn Witches back into puella magi, and so forth, though! Oh, but no multi-clause lawyer wishes.
So make a wish, SV. Make a wish, and let's get this rolling.

*observes burgeoning bandwagon*
Give SV a shot at UNLIMITED POWAAAAAAAH and they don't take it. Huh. Guess this really isn't SB.
I'm not outright saying it's a bad option, and as I said, I'll not screw you guys over with the Wish... but all I'm saying is that you could wish for something with a broader utility.
Once again, nothing story ending.
Do you have any suggestions?*observes burgeoning bandwagon*

This one looks pretty good.[x] "I wish to control the power and effects of grief and witches"
I second guess myself too much to want to come up with a vote myself.
I know being able to deal with other Puella Magi's grief would be a huge plus, and we also need offensive capabilities that aren't completely terrible. As far as I know there's no single line limitation on wish making so we could fit in a second line if need be.
Oh, I didn't see that.
To the first, there are some in the OP. Wish never to become a Witch, to be able to turn Witches in general back into puella magi, hell, wish to be able to turn puella magi into Witches while they retain their faculties. Or even wish to be invincible. Unconquerable is out, but invincibility isn't.Do you have any suggestions?
Can we wish for ahigh schoolnonmagical AU?
Valid.
Given that I'm the GM, if I don't want to write it, then it is story ending, isn't it?Just because you don't want to write a non-magical AU doesn't mean it's story-ending.
...jumping off the grief bandwagon because I think I have an idea.
The greatest thing we could have at this point is anonymity , from everyone especially Kyubey, it more or less gives us carte blanche to do what we need to do in the setting. Sure not being able to control our grief is terrible, but then again, if we could waltz into a Witch's Barrier, kill it and waltz out without anyone being any wiser, I'd say it balances out.
