Bonus points if we transform Persona 3 style.

Hello, SV. So it seems that I've decided to throw my hat into the ring and trying a out a Quest.
There's a saying. Villains act, heroes react.
We have here a tabula rasa, a blank slate of a character for SV to control as you will. I invite you to use as much meta-knowledge and reasoning as you like; I will be treating her as an avatar of SV as guided by the votes and a mind state as given by the thread, in any case.
I've always hated that saying.
So. Fair warning. This is not going to be an easy Quest. Oriko is going to be a primary antagonist, for starters, and, well-

Well. Let's just say you'll find out as it goes, eh?

Fair's fair, though. Make a wish. I'll let nearly anything pass, save anything story ending: No pre- or post- cognition for you, no immunity thereof, no "I wish to always succeed", no "I wish for Oriko to drop dead", no Path to Victory for you. Just about anything else is fair game, though! You can wish to 'never become a Witch', or to be able to turn Witches back into puella magi, and so forth, though! Oh, but no multi-clause lawyer wishes.

So make a wish, SV. Make a wish, and let's get this rolling.
So, we should get a power suited towards action, and unpredictability. We are going up against Oriko, so we need to make her precog useless. We also need a good offense, for witches/enemy puella, and something that keeps us alive, either mobility or defense. Mobility is probably better, because it seems like it would work better with a wish that would leave us unpredictable, and dodging is generally just better than tanking. I'm not the best at wording things, so I'll just throw my thoughts out there and hope they help.

So something like Lelouch geassing Suzaku to remain alive and rendering Bismarck's precog useless?

Retracted vote for now

Our own grief? Are we going to have to actively make ourselves depressed to maintain our power? Why not absorb it from other Puella Magi?

*observes burgeoning bandwagon*
Give SV a shot at UNLIMITED POWAAAAAAAH and they don't take it. Huh. Guess this really isn't SB.
I'm not outright saying it's a bad option, and as I said, I'll not screw you guys over with the Wish... but all I'm saying is that you could wish for something with a broader utility.

"I wish to have omnipotence"?

I don't know, making really specific wishes isn't exactly my forte.

Do you have any suggestions?

Can we wish for a high school nonmagical AU?

I second guess myself too much to want to come up with a vote myself.

I know being able to deal with other Puella Magi's grief would be a huge plus, and we also need offensive capabilities that aren't completely terrible. As far as I know there's no single line limitation on wish making so we could fit in a second line if need be.

To the first, there are some in the OP. Wish never to become a Witch, to be able to turn Witches in general back into puella magi, hell, wish to be able to turn puella magi into Witches while they retain their faculties. Or even wish to be invincible. Unconquerable is out, but invincibility isn't.

Hell, wish for cake. I can work with something that general.

My quibble with the burgeoning bandwagon is that it barely scratches the surface of what you can Wish for. It's not a bad Wish, I emphasize again, it's just limited.

To the second, no. Storyending clause again.

Oh, and RE: the multiclause thing, my rule of thumb is four or less clauses.

[x] I wish for the means to fix everything

We still have to figure out how and we can still fail, so it's not story-ending.

To the second, no. Storyending clause again.

Just because you don't want to write a non-magical AU doesn't mean it's story-ending. :p

Hmm, invincibility sounds pretty good, especially if it includes being immune to soul gem corruption. Oriko won't be able to harm us directly, but it doesn't stop her from winning some other way either.

...jumping off the grief bandwagon because I think I have an idea.

The greatest thing we could have at this point is anonymity , from everyone especially Kyubey, it more or less gives us carte blanche to do what we need to do in the setting. Sure not being able to control our grief is terrible, but then again, if we could waltz into a Witch's Barrier, kill it and waltz out without anyone being any wiser, I'd say it balances out.

[x] I wish that no one on this world, especially you Incubator, knew or remembered that I exist.

I like your idea, but am not convinced your wording gives us the ability you think it does.

[x] "I wish for control over you."

Vetoing potential Madoka contracts would be a major edge, Grief Seed reuse may become viable and is gamebreaking in itself, and an endless supply of QBodies for deathscouting (and pranks) would also be nice. :p

What about something like wishing for controllable immunity that works on everything? (Like physical laws, magic, grief etc)

Could be useful if worded right, but no idea for how.
