I don't know that Homura's hammerspace ability is unique any more than her healing ability is unique. Her wish doesn't really relate to space manipulation, so it could just be that she uses hammerspace so often that she has become exceptionally good at it. Or maybe everyone has access to near limitless hammerspace, but they just choose to rely on other skills. Or maybe most girls don't know that it's possible to use it; after all, we don't know how good we are at the whole hammerspace thing because we have yet to try it out.

I always assumed that Homura's hammerspace was actually a temporal ability. That she just put shit in a timehole and it was time-traveled to the moment she was going to pull it out later.

I think this has come up before, but the latest update's good use of grief reminded me.
You know, Tiro Final spam vs Walpugnisnact is nice- but we could also just grief bend a Starship and grab some dense metal rods, and... voila, instant orbital bombardment.
We'd only need to worry about causing TOO MUCH damage.

Would either take longer from dropping projectiles one by one until we kill Walpurgisnacht, or risk overkill by dropping everything we can at the same time, and, unlike Tiro Finale which we can aim up and has relatively little splash damage, any rods that go through the witch due to its deadness are going to be hitting the ground.

If so, I would have a number of practical applications in mind for their use, including one which may, in conjunction with Homura's ability to stop time, allow us to safely use the Orbital Drop Cannon idea with minimal risk to the city, barring fuckups on our end.

The delivery mechanism is also problematic. It would take time for a projectile to fall from orbit, time which isn't available during timestop (and we will be fighting from timestop because we don't want to give Wally a chance to damage the city). Using rail-gun shots and Tiro Finales from point-blank range (and repeated over and over again as necessary) is more feasible.
