Your metaphor falls apart since we're enacting a plan that may put us in additional danger, so that would call for asking them, but your vote works.
[X] Cannongerbil.

I think if we tell Sayaka to throw a match, I think she'll go all "Micky one-punch" on us and we'll end up having to kill the local Yakuza.

Also, us? Run from the Yakuza, of all things? Hahaha, if the Yakuza begin threatening any of us, we'll just descend in full grief armor with wings and everything right in front of their boss and ask them what they think a bunch of petty mortals can do to us.

"Do you know what nemesis means?"

Speaking of Sayaka, we should get her a hobby or something. Make her feel useful. After all, she was already considering herself useless with hands that couldn't do anything in the early episodes of cannon.

EDIT: Ideally, she needs a creative outlet so that she no longer feels useless and she can make something to give as a token of thanks to Hitomi. But we don't know what she'd be good at.
I think we've got a conversation topic here. Ask the folks about any hobbies or special skills they might have. Sayaka may not think she's anything special, but I'm sure Madoka will have something to say about how great she is, which gives us something to build off. Should also result in people gushing over Mami, which might help her own mental state.

You hop off the vent and pivot on a foot, throwing your arms out in a grand bow to an audience that's not there, simultaneously transforming in a blaze of light.
So, as Ugolino noted earlier, we seem to have contracted Mami's theatricality. Is this an appropriate lunch topic, maybe to shore up Mami's confidence, or is it too magical girl related?

Okay. Can someone tell me the joke behind Emiya syndrome? Cause Kyoko's not the only one who doesn't get it.

Emiya Shirou is the main protagonist from Fate/Stay Night. He wants to save everyone in a very bloody, pessimistic universe, and has very little regard for his own well-being.

It could also refer to his father, Emiya Kiritsugu, but I don't think Sabrina kills enough people for that. :p

Adding on to this, the high jump thing is a reference to the fact that two of his possible love interests took a shine to him after seeing him try over and over to make a high jump.

Swimming?
*shot*

Think Sayaka would enjoy skydiving? Skydiving is a hobby right? Or pottery, she could reinact that famous scene.

If we're being serious though, what she'd actually enjoy would probably be either soccer, kendo or band.

Please tell me this actually happens/is canon, because it'd be both useful and hilarious.

I mean, the fact that Kyouko is that aware of the concept of tsundere and still actively and preemptively denies being one is too damn funny.

Also, it honestly seems like having Yuma around gives Kyouko a small bonus to her Kyouplomacy rolls. Really makes the tsundere-ness more easily apparent.
It's canon.

I thought Oriko can't predict the results of anything we do?
That's not exactly true.

She can't reliably predict what we're actually going to do, but she seems to be able to see the effects of our actions.

Like, she didn't foresee us finding and kicking her ass, but she could tell that by talking to Sendai we moved up the war's timetable or that the healing staff we made wasn't going to last.

Less that we can't be seen and more that we have this irritating tendency to keep changing shit in an otherwise straight forward-ish future.

She's basically also receiving info from Firnagzen.

It's a reference to another series, called Fate/Stay Night. The protagonist, one Emiya Shirou, is extremely determined to be a hero and save everyone. Normal people have the instinct "breath" or "eat"; his instincts tell him "help people".

This is why I like you guys. Thanks.

And now Hollow Fake makes way more sense.
