So she never got the memo about the "pain off" mode for megucas?
Keeping in mind that operating on "pain off" takes a lot more magic than usual and accelerates Grief accumulation. You're not just switching pain off, you're using magic to both heal and override damaged body functions, so you're basically running your whole body on telekinesis. Going around with pain off also makes you take and ignore more casual damage, which has issues like "missing fist sized chunk without noticing" and putting unnecessary load on the soulgem.

It's not really feasible except in an emergency where you have to move or die, unless you're immune to corruption.

It took 105 grief marbles worth of grief to heal us . Healing is absurdly expensive considering how cheaply we've cleansed soul gems at other times. When we eventually give this to Kyuubey we should ask how this many stacks up versus a grief seed considering this would have been many grief seeds worth of cleansing.

The next day is just feeding Kyubey grief marbles nonstop. :D

[x]...We kind of cheated with our magic to dull the pain, and we knew Mami and Homura were right there. We're sorry we made her worry again.
[x] Thank them both.
[x] Fix your costume.
[x] Look at the grief marbles.
-[x] "Oh wow..."
-[x] You might want to do something about that... for ease of traveling if nothing else.
[x]Talk to Mami.
[x]Let's keep going. Oriko's still out there, right? (Change topic away from lichbomb.)

Edit: Changed to Muramasa's vote.

Now, remember when we had that discussion on the one single line we'd be able to say to snap Mami out of...err... this?

I say we do it by calling back a moment when we were injured at our most vulnerable, and were still acting rationally and friendly and whatnot. Basically, part of Mami's issues are that she needs a friend, right? Having a best friend that trusts you unconditionally would call to that. Then, also saying that we trust her may (or may not) help reinforce that we believe she's a good person, regardless of witchout potential.

Plus, it'll (hopefully) help with the loneliness thing.

There's a reason why most magical girls don't really do fast or extensive healing. The efficiency is pretty bad(maybe because it's reversing very complex damage) unless it's your wish focus like Sayaka or Yuma.

We've had worse, remember how we started the quest at death's door?

[X] "I had worse wounds before I made my wish. In comparison this was a lot less painful."
-[X] "... and maybe I cheated with magic."
--[X] Create a small scale model of the Solar System with your Grief Pearls. It'd be cool.

I don't think we have the range for this.
Our control radius is 100m, let's only include the interesting bits of the solar system for convenience - limit it to, iunno, call it 7.5 million million metres out. So the model can be 0.00000000133% as big as the real thing; the sun's going to be nearly two centimetres across. Neat.

(Or I've made any number of horrendous maths errors).

The dude looks like he's high

High on MAGIC! The most fantastical high there can be! I mean, just look at this wizard! He's totally rocking out on on the energies of the universe!

In any event...

"I don't roll for witches"

....-_- why ;_;

...if the quote function on my end is working ...anyway by the end I want to see Oriko hung by her entrails.

If we leave them in a pile for later, they go poof at 100m away. They'd stick around in timestop, but we'd have to remember to go back. Otherwise this poor person's house is going to have the place across from it set on fire, then his roof explodes, and a witch moves in.

We don't know that. Sabrina forming the grief into a ball in her training session isn't clear to be the same as compressing it into an inactive grief marble.

The ball descintigrated because she lost control of it once it was out of her range. The grief marbles don't seem to require concious control.
