    TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

    To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

    I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

    I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

    I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

    I'll see you all around.

    Reading back to this omake, I actually have to point out that at this point IOTL, Jim Cummings had never actually done any voice acting. At the moment, he had just gotten married and was managing a video store in Anaheim. So, not only was he neither a voice actor nor an experienced one at this point in time, this may have accidentally jumpstarted his career four years in advance.

    I also now have this image of Brad Bird just randomly walking into Jim's video store one day and, after hearing his voice for the first time, casting him on the spot as Plagg, to the utter befuddlement of Jim. :V

    Sidenote, I've got a pitch coming up that I think Craven would be more than happy to direct. Get ready for a wall of text longer than the Great Wall of China.

    Hell, that sounds like something the Animation Devision would do on a lark.

    Its how Steve Blumn got his start.
     
    BTW how is the DNC? I've been researching and it said that Carter faced though competition for his renomination against challenger Ted Kennedy. OTL he won but ITL with more failures and a greater sense of distrust is it possible that Ted won the democratic nomination or is the incumbant advantage still strong enough to have him renominated?

    Carter still got the nod at this time but barely mostly because of the optics at play.

    They give up on Jimmy, they will be seen as fools for choosing the wrong man.

    I think Carter should still win considering OTL he won on a pretty decisive majority of primaries with 3/4th's of the states and a majority of democratic voters going for him. Carter has Romania to boost him in foreign policy appeal but a worse economy and Stagflation thanks to a recession caused by Romania may switch more voters to Kennedy. I think the party leadership would be behind Carter because they know 1980 is a lost cause and it'd be best to salvage things then divide the party and focus resources into a new candidate. Not to mention that Ted does not have good national appeal because of Chappaquiddick, dude was never gonna get the nod after that. But considering the DNC was three weeks after the RNC, it's gonna be a pretty gloomy time.

    Although one interesting potential future for the Democrats is the Artemis program significantly raising the profile of John Glenn and giving him potential to get the Democratic nomination.

    If I had a nickel for everytime something that happened in this quest was followed by an eerily similar situation happening in real life, I'd have more than two. Which isn't saying much, but the fact that this has happened more than two times and doesn't show any sign of stopping is becoming quite concerning.

    ..... Dear Lord, Japan would probably go BERSERK if that had happened..... Like.... Wow they would REALLY go nuts on them.
