Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Again he's available...

I just don't recommend asking him to do four films in one year, he ain't super man like Bruce.
I get he's available, I'm more so asking about the circumstances of how we get them to be made, since the impression I got from what you said about Faith was that he was making it automatically, sort of like how An American Tail and Secret of NIMH were being made despite not being in the plan vote. I just want to confirm whether or not that's the case or if we have to manually include it in this plan turn and whether Hush is in that same boat.

That was the automatic one, same with American Taile and NIMH.

-Quinton Tarintino: A Literal teenager who has no experience with any sort of filmmaking besides what he learned watching at video stores and from what he gained as an assistant director working with Sam. He's very much an experimental filmmaker with no preconceived notion of what is right and wrong when making a film.
I'm confused, hasn't Reservoire Dog been release? Cuz i remember seeing it in the sidestory/release movie section.

I think I gave a reward for yes.

I can't remember.
Let's go with yes then. So, Cult of the Preacher is supposed to enter production this year, and Hush is another added script, but we can't do it because Wes is busy...

Alright, I can work with this:

Bruce O'Brian - Conan the Destroyer

Brian de Palma - Cult of the Preacher

The Coen Brothers - Snow White and the Huntsman

Sam Raimi -

Quentin Tarantino -

Ron Howard -

George Lucas -

So, any suggestions for the last 4?

Wes Craven - The Slenderman

Bruce O'Brian - Conan the Destroyer

Brian de Palma - Across America in 90 days

The Coen Brothers - Snow White and the Huntsman

Sam Raimi -

Quentin Tarantino -

Ron Howard -

George Lucas -
I think Wes should be given something else. Remember, he's trying to break out from horror. Maybe Wendy the Witch or Used Cars. For Ron Howard, I'd probably choose something like Stormchasers or Medicine Crow? Maybe give George The Playground? Not sure about Tarantino and Raimi though. We don't really have many film scripts that fit their style, I think. You're also missing Francis and Michael Mann.

Yeah, the new plan has Wes removed and Cult of the Preacher given to Brian de Palma.

Magoose already removed Francis as he was not supposed to be there, and Michael Mann..I don't know what he's doing there since I removed him from the list a while ago. He's only supposed to work for us in Miami Vice.

Perhaps we might need to brave it with some of the Pitches if we want to give something to Tarantino or Raimi. We could try some Omakes alter to counter the Malus.

Ah okay then.

The Coen Brothers option seems a bit strange to me, think you could explain your reasoning?

Well, I thoughtthat they could add some drama and comedy to the film, and at the same time I wanted to start showing the different versions of Disney Classics.

Also, I could not think of anything else from the list for them to work on.

Also, do you think we should we have Ron Howard work on the sequel to Prince of Persia?

"Oh no Bruce, If I have four directors out, we need to shore up the films… That means you owe me."

"I don't owe you anything? Mike, we pay you." You said.

But then you realized George's hand. "Uh… I promised Mike he could get a Conan film from you this year."

"My wife is pregnant!" You said.

"I'm not asking you to go immediately, but George made a promise." he said.

Damn you George, this was how you managed to get mikes services. You made promises.

Bruh, we literally named our son after these two and they already roped us into a new movie. Well, at least enough time has passed that there's genuine demand and we should do it now. However, we should have a "paternity leave" and not start work on it until June/July so we can focus Spring on helping Carrie with George and being a good dad.

Sunrise can create two shows this action plan, and one option for Gundam.
That Option Can Be:
ZZ Gundam
War in the Pocket
8th ms team

Magoose, we're already making ZZ Gundam, that was confirmed at the start of the year. I think with this opportunity, we should have Sunrise do Miraculous since it's long overdue a sequel and it'll pair nicely with our superhero shows. Let's also do War in the Pocket. It's a good start to the expansion of UC, War in the Pocket was made close so we can get all our talent, adn it'll sell some nice gunpla.

- Brian De Palma: Brian is the odd one out. He likes directing, has a strong directing talent and he's great for budget and other things. But he has a problem that, in his opinion could be a problem. He's not the best at working with original screenplays, preferring to adapt novels, stories or even outright remaking others than trying his best to make his own. He said that he strongly believes that if he has a framework, he can make it better because he can contort the story to the cinema. And well, he's the only one who hasn't really gone over budget or schedule. Yet he hasn't really worked on huge projects before, so it would be a change for them.

- Wes Craven: Up until John Carpenter burst into the scene, Wes Craven was widely considered the most proficient at Horror films...A title which he doesn't seem that fond of. Wes is good at what he does, his work in the horror genre could be called pioneering even now when he's just starting. Yet at the same time, he wishes to try and expand his horizons beyond what he already knows. Nevertheless, he is a prolific writer and director, willing to give his all in every production, and innovate at every chance he gets.

- Sam Raimi: A promising young Director who's just made his debut with "The Evil Dead", a movie that made a splash during the Halloween season. Sam is best known for his dynamic camera work, unorthodox style of filming, unconventional storytelling and a desire to experiment with unconventional angles and framing. Along with a unique editing style, he often blends horror or action with a healthy dose of dark humor. He injects witty one-liners or situational comedy into even the tensest moments, balancing the tone and engaging audiences with unexpected humor.

For Brian, we need to reserve him to make Scarface, the film is too iconic to let pass. As for Wes and Sam, I want one of them to make Slenderman so we can have an original horror franchise.

By the way Magoose, any chance we can add some new animation talent? I feel like we're overworking our directors a bit.

If we can set filming near La then Conan would definitely be possible. Honestly Joshua tree is about 3 hours away and is beautiful

I had sort of an idea that for Conan the Destroyer, we could focus the first half on his pirate career where he's grieving for Valeria, has an adventure with Red Sonja, and then gains a newfound resolve. The second half is him as a mercenary where he's reunited with his friends and after winning a great battle, sets out to conquer his own Kingdom and gain a following.

By the way Magoose, do we have any sort of plot for Conan the Destroyer? I can't remember a single pitch being dedicated to it.

So long as we also do Detention then I have no problems with it.

We can have him do that? I mean, we don't have the script in the list.

Wes can do Slenderman I guess, though should we risk it when he's working on Faith?
I actually based it on one of the Best Conan short stories.

Queen of the Black Coast, and The People of the Black Circle.

AKA the best of Howards Orginal Run.
Loved those ones. Glad to see that their exclusion from the first movie will be recctified in the second.

He did.

Well, he was supposed to do Splash in OTL, so any chance he can do that movie as well @Magoose?

Either that or Flight of the Navigator I think.
I'd say let him do something else to not burn him out. Splash works and so does Flight of the Navigator. I think George can do Stormchasers and maybe Raimi can do Wendy the Witch? That just leaves Tarantino.
Wes can do Slenderman I guess, though should we risk it when he's working on Faith?
Probably not, since it would only harm both films. Of course, I'm a little biased since I want Faith to do well.

Alright, so with Kaiser's ideas we could have Brian do Scarface (though I think he wanted to do the second Conan film) Bruce can do Conan, Wes can do Slenderman (if we can risk it), and Howard can do Splash.

Also, looking back, the Coen Brothers directorial debut wa Blood Simple, a huge critical success. So, perhaps we can let them do that as well? They should have the script now.
