Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Sunrise is two shows plus one of the Gundam options, so we can still do Miraculous and Gundam alongside a third. Not sure what you're talking about in regards to the OVAs though.
I think I recall that I got a reward mentioning that we could do two OVAs aside from the gundam project.
We don't have scripts though for The Last Unicorn and The Little Mermaid. We have the rights to The Last Unicorn and we have The Little Mermaid pitch, but we don't have scripts for either.
We have the rights for the Last Unicorn, so just like Amadeus, we can work with it. Furthermore, on animated pitches we can also work using Pitches.
... I mean, if they beginproduction, I will roll for scripts.

they might not be good though.
How would that work for the new version of Aladdin?

Shit. I want The Last unicorn but I don't want it to suck because of a malice. I wish we could pick some of the scripts the writers room does instead of letting them all be random. Like one or two maybe. Then let RNG decide what else gets picked for fairness or something.

Francis Ford Coppola can serve as producer of 2 films while directing one film, currently.

Okay, so Francis is currently on a personal project (if history continues as it is, then it should be One From the Heart...which is just going to be hell on our brand, I just know it!) so, we have 2 opening there.

Oliver and Edward are one each, so another 2.

Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer are two each, so 4.

Bruce and George can do one each, so 2.

Therefore we can do around 10 movies in Live Action in Lucasfilms.

Sunrise is Gundam plus two projects, so 3 in total there.

Dreamworks is 2 only.

And Ardmore is 2 again.

So:

Lucasfilms: 10 Movies
Sunrise: Gundam and 2 others.
DreamWorks: 2 Projects
Ardmore: 2 movies.

And we have: The Coen Brothers, George Lucas, Bruce O'Brian, Wes Craven, Sam Raimi, Quentin Tarantino, Brian de Palma, and Ron Howard.

So, at best we can do 8 films in Lucasfilms...unless we decide to give Zemeckis a promotion to try for a film on his own.

If you promote Robert, be warned, he would request to wait for Steve to come back for his film as producer.

also, you might realize something...

george can potentially start directing again.

We do have the option to let Carrie work on scripts, but at the same time we should not abuse it since she might not like it.

...bother.

Well now, that's a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

...I regret nothing.

So long as he does not try for a Howard the Duck film...he's not right?

That depends on if he can convince Stan Lee and the Marvel Crew that he can do it.
Dude, he's the man who created Star Wars, the greatest franchise and trilogy that has the entire nation brought to a standstill the moment a new entry comes around. Of course they're going to trust him with it.

...Though, I am confused. Do we need to convince them? I know we gave them greater autonomy and freedom of expression, but we still own the company, right?
I didn't notice before, but where is Kurosawa? Is he available?
...Yeah, anothe rmovie would be welcome here.
He's Making Ran.

And oh boy some of the crazy production shit happening there.
Oh man, and here I'd hoped that it would go smoother this time around.

No, George needs to, because Stan might want to ask George to do something else in Marvel Cosmic.

Because you know, George is the master of science Fantasy right now.

Ran might be his magnum opus.

Yeah, it be weird if they were against it at all, but it also just straight up doesn't make sense for them to be able to refuse. It might cause some tensions if they weren't convinced and it was pushed through anyways, but it wouldn't make sense that they'd be able to stop us.

@Magoose, what kind of maluses are we looking at for production without a script?

Its less that he can't say no, but more stan wants to see what he can do, with bringing the marvel cosmic brand more recognition.

Big maluses.

And big production problems that could cause the quality to tank.

...

How about War for the Crystal and El Cantar de Mio Cid for the animated movies. If I recall correctly, Spain was all for supporting us in making the latter. And if we can get a young Antonio Banderas to voice El Cid, then all the better.

It would certinaly be something.

Do we need to assign someone for Cult of the Preacher or is someone already doing it in the background? What else would synergies with damaging the satanic panic?

How fast can we get Star wars Coral sea done and can we ask George to do it? If fast enough it would be al hell of a distraction and double bluff for anyone watching to see if Jedi is done.

And yes we should do Conan and keep Mike happy. We should also get one of those Helicamper Winnebago's and John Travolta to help teach Bruce to fly so there is a bit more contact. And not go to Jordan

Those sound good to me, and I think we should avoid doing We Happy Few this time since we want that film to have as much impact as possible without any maluses.

What are your thoughts on the other directors?

Now that you mention that, what's going on with Faith: The Unholy Trinity @Magoose?

Its being made by Wes Craven...
Wait, so how come he's available now?

It's already being done, so we should just let it continue. It is a TV movie after all.

Sounds fine, so we do Still Wakes the Deep and The Imitation Game then.

Here are some suggestions for them:

Wes Craven - The Slenderman

Bruce O'Brian - Conan the Destroyer

Brian de Palma - Across America in 90 days

The Coen Brothers - Snow White and the Huntsman

Sam Raimi -

Quentin Tarantino -

Ron Howard -

George Lucas -

I'm still not sure which movie can work for the last four. Any suggestions?

Wait, so how come he's available now?
Because while he's avalible...

Lets just say giving him another film to work on might cause problems.
Just automatically or is that something we need to do manually? Also, what about Hush, since I recall the reward for that pitch was that Wes really wanted to make that film.
Again he's available...

I just don't recommend asking him to do four films in one year, he ain't super man like Bruce.

Oay, so giving him another film might not be the best idea.

That puts us down to 7.

So, is Hush a finished script then?
