That won't work. We have to destroy a set number of balls, more than were already spawned. So killing the sorcerers before they cast them all means we lose.
Eh, depends. If you look at it another way, we're preemptively destroying the orbs they could have generated.

Wouldn't we get minus points for collateral damage? Since it would indicate a lack of control on our part.
I was talking about the general idea of "eliminate the sorcerors". Not advocating blowing up the planet in any shape or form.
...Also, there's no rule against collateral from what I can see.

Well, at least this will probably go less badly than it would if you used it on a bunch of pureblood saiyans from The Bad Old Days. They'd start tearing each other to pieces so that the survivors could then go on to blow up as many orbs as possible in the last minute... then the last thirty seconds... then yeah they never actually get around to blowing up orbs because they're too busy fighting each other. 
Look at it the way the man who came up with the exercise would look at it, bearing in mind that he probably has a specific agenda. In any case, some saiyans who THINK they're smart are probably going to try attacking the sorcerors. How Berra responds will determine whether they're right; we can afford to stay out of it.
Watch as not a single Saiyan does so.

If we're going the cooperative route, I'd like to add something along the lines of, if we win, making sure the purse is evenly divided along the team that decided to cooperate. It avoids any appearances of nepotism, improves Kakara's reputation, and hammers home the whole point about how sometimes people need to individually sacrifice for the greater good and society will even it out as best it can.
In fact, such an arrangement might be useful for convincing people to cooperate in the first place.

So, is there anything stopping us from attacking the sorcerers? Because in all honesty, "lets keep attacking and destroying these things the enemy keeps making" is a bad strategy most of the time.
Also, since it's 5 minutes long, will there be multiple rounds?
