In the world where Jaffur won the vote, you obviously aren't PoptartProdigy, as that's who you are in this world.

This is the Mirror Universe, where everyone (regardless of intentionally-neutral gender) has a goatee and everything is opposite.

So he's saying you'd be a Savant of Toaster Strudels instead of a Prodigy of Poptarts.

I hope this has cleared up (or, better, intensified) any confusion!

Aha. In that case, my mirror-universe name would almost certainly be OnTheWall, @Blonddude42.

???
I'm struggling to see that. For example, over on SB Sage_Of_Eyes has several throughout his COREverse threads. The most memorable name is Blind_Seer as a pun on Sage's name like most of the others. So for you it would be something somewhat related to Poptart and Prodigy. Toaster Strudel and Savant kinda meet it. The goal of things like that is so we could recognize negaverse counterparts (and to play up the negative a bit)

Mirror universe. "Mirror, mirror, on the wall..." ;)

Compliant Omake: Jaffur Quest (Welcome To the Training Hall)
Alright I hammered out a draft for the main post in the negaverse. I'd love feedback on it to see if there is anything I can do to improve it. I'll try to figure out how to do the fake quoting later, but until then feel free to react to it as your negaverse self (which can be just your normal self with a negaverse name)

Welcome to the Training Hall

The Training Hall. For centuries, it has been the center of Saiyan civilization; for years, it has been the center of your world.

This wonder of the Saiyan race's making was crafted centuries ago when the first of the Sorcerers banded together in the hope of creating a refuge for the survivors of Earth. They were immensely successful. Hidden by esoteric means from the eyes of the local world, it is a place where Saiyans could exist unrestricted by the Masques that keep them hidden.

Truth be told, the name is not quite accurate. The Hall is open-air; a massive cavern missing its ceiling ‒ although rumors say it was not originally meant to be so. The main area is ringed by many smaller training rooms and even apartments for those who do not wish to take part in the Masquerade. Through the power of countless charms The Hall is as secure as a bunker a mile underground ‒ more so if a Sorcerer is present to reinforce them.

In fear of being sensed, your people are forbidden from walking around the outside world at full power. What few scouters survived the fall of Earth found an unexpected new relevance in determining who couldn't be allowed to go outside the Hall without their power-dampening Masque on. But the Hall, and only the Hall, is the place where your people can unleash their full power.

And, by necessity, it is the place where Scions will transform. It is the place where you must transform.

You woke up at the break of dawn for your training as Father demanded. You only had time for a light three course meal as your breakfast; you were curious when your father would allow you to have lunch. If he would allow you to have lunch at all.

After all, today is the day you begin you become a Super Saiyan. Well, officially it was the day you began your training to do so, but you are a Vegetan and an exceptional protigy. This should be easy for you ‒ trivial even.

So why

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

The Hell

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

Haven't you

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

MADE IT!

BANG.

The explosive burst of your ki tears up the floor and casts rubble across the room. Absently you notice that your father has drifted towards another group of Saiyans. One is powerful ‒ powerful like your father. It must be the Lord Goku and his family.

The Lord, and his Scion.

You can't afford to look. Your father never forgives slacking. He will not tolerate it. You cannot let him see you distracted. You cannot afford to arouse his ire. You don't want to hurt again today.

You need to keep pushing. Struggling against that barrier. Why can't you break through?

You change up your efforts. Struggling to power up beyond your limits alone will not help. You need to keep you other skills sharp anyways.

You pause for just a moment. You close your eyes, envisioning your targets surrounding you. Many move in a complex patterns about you while others remain mostly stationary. In this moment neither side has begun their attacks. Your flash open, and the dance begins.

You begin launching ki attacks to distract what you recognise as significant threats, while already moving far away from where you were just before. You smash through several targets with physical strikes, never stopping your barrage of ki attacks. You switch directions, avoiding the retaliation of several targets own ki attacks. The barrage ends, and you move on to more focused and powerful ki attacks; the targets drop like flies to your might. You are strong, and you will be stronger. You need to be stronger.

You will be a Super Saiyan. You need to be a Super Saiyan.

"Mom, can I go flying?" A young voice drifts across the room, or rather your ears pick the words from up across it. You always have had unusually sharp hearing; it has never failed to bring things you normally should not hear to your attention. Even those you want to ignore; you have long since learned to fall asleep to the screams of your mother during your father's bouts of rage.

But maybe you can afford a little peak. Father is distracted after all.

She is garbed in the traditional gi of house Goku, tail wrapped around her waist protectively as all Saiyans are taught to do. You see her hair flowing freely with her slightly raised aura ‒ bright and golden even without achieving her Super Saiyan form. Her flight is smooth, not wavering in the slightest. She is strong, that much you can tell for sure even with only a cursory glance. Of course, it is only fitting that the other Scion can rival your power.

Maybe she would care for a spar?

[] Attract her attention. Father most likely won't mind a spar between the Scions.

[] Let her be. You refuse to risk Father's wrath.

While I would like to appear in the negaverse... I have no idea how my counterpart would react as it is traditional for them to be the opposite of the voter and I am too close to get perspective. That is why the most prominent members with clear stances are chosen and those who are consistent in their words. Lailoken would be one such example, since his character is the pragmatic sociopath then his negaself would be the idealist. The issue is that they must still be recognizable in their patterns. Of course, variety is better so they all don't need to be opposites, just different. For example, I try sometimes to point out advantages to the plans as soon as I notice even if I am against said plan. My counterpart could do that or could demonize the others. I also try to be polite which he might or might not be and I am the one who focused the most in Kakara gaining political power, I think, so he might do the same for Jaffur or push to become a carefree hermit. I think I would go for a mix: most just distorted with the most prominent and recognizable members as opposites.

As for the update... well at this point the playerbase doesn't know how much of an asshole Vegeta is so they don't know what his wrath is like or how severe so that should play a part. Since it is also the first update there should be some grumbling from thosewho wanted to play Kakara. Some comments about how young she sounds. Some comments about him asking her to a spar ad wanting friends and to contrast/complain at how he does so at a later update. Also, the divide between those who feel they should train to become SS (which would be losing given the option that won and meta-knowledge of the need for a need) and those who want an ally. Plus the emphasis on making Jaffur a murdermachine. Some meta planning for having her as our diplomatic advisor and some saying we shouldn't ask for a spar given that it says she doesn't like it in char creation but some arguing we need to know that IC.

Still too early to ship since we haven't seen much of her char but some still arguing in favor of diplo waifu as others point out they are eight and forum rules. Maybe fake more active Mods in-thread?

I think we would go with sparing under the judtification that that is what Jaffur knows and somebody attempting a write in for a race instead but losing because Vegeta is said to be harsh and against slacking.

Also, there is no mention in the update that it both of the Scion's birthday and how they didn't celebrate Jaffur's.

Jaffur is actually several months older than you. He was born at the start of the year.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees...:D

Your lesser bonus for the fake update goes towards your next social action with Jaffur.

Wait, that's what your user is supposed to be?

Yep. There's a farm near where I used to live that's owned by a family with the last name 'Kain', and they called their farm 'Kain'-tucky Acres. That lead to me thinking about a hillbilly pronouncing 'Kentucky' with the stresses all wrong.

My real name isn't Robert (or any derivative) but I couldn't picture a redneck with my name (unless it was 'Name-Bob', which brings us back to Bob...)

So yeah, that's the story of my name :)

I still stand by 'if I ever appear in a negaverse my negaverse self would be known as Aquabrand'. There are context reasons I don't feel like getting into- suffice to say it relates to a specific quest in a roundabout way.

Honestly you're one of the few I could name independently. Although, I probably would have done Aquamark instead.

As a side note to everyone, feel free to react as your negaverse self (and maybe even describe how your negaverse self would act) and I'll try too work it into the final product. I've got a three hour car ride so I might be able to hammer out another.
