Mmmmmmm, that was a good sleep, time to take a look at how the first responses have-
You might want to threadmark this.
So, any chance your willing to give a vague idea of how risky/likely to succeed my plan is, at least in comparison to the leading sorcerer gamble thing.
Thank, forgot the threadmark. Your plan could certainly work, but it involves
first a crushing Willpower check to think that long-term, and then requires a few Communication checks to wrangle people around and keeping a near-berserk Jaffur from vaporizing everything within reach. It also involves closing to within touch range of a raging Super Saiyan without being smashed, which is no small feat.
But if you
do pass all of those, you can do it and defuse the immediate tension. The fact that Dad is simply going to try to help Lady Vegeta Seal Jaffur again as soon as he gets up is, of course, another problem.
So, apart from all of these other...
Developments.
The most interesting part is the idea that such violent behavior is literally genetic, something that the human part might only barely keep in check,
@PoptartProdigy, has this same rising 'insanity' ever happened to someone of house Goku?
There are bad eggs in every generation, in every house. Granted, most Saiyans have too much pride in their heritage to ascribe it to their Saiyan blood. Lady Vegeta is very unusual in that regard.
The sorceress can channel divine ki and has demonstrated the ability to stabilize critical injuries.
Meanwhile, there is a maniac who might well finish off everybody in sight or even the entire planet and exactly one person who might be able to stop him in the narrow window where is injured enough to make it possible.
That's...not divine ki. Divine ki flat-out can't be sensed. Sorcery
can be sensed -- as in this update -- but feels flat-out
weird. Most people who haven't been exposed to it tend to think it feels slightly wrong.
Yes, the same as last time.
Either way, it doesn't matter if she doesn't transform our isn't present to challenge him. There are no other Super Saiyans.
To be fair, in the last fight Jaffur's insane rolls didn't actually make him a
threat so much as
annoyingly persistent. Remember that until he started busting out his final techniques and doing
DC 95 Willpower Pushes, he couldn't realistically threaten you in any meaningful way.
Jaffur is a pain to fight because he's fast, he has that strange style that nobody really understands, and I've now codified his unwillingness to back down into his traits, but even he can't ignore a power level gap of -- at the moment, should you transform -- fifty million units.
