An excellent question! By now, there's been sufficient interbreeding that the Exiles are Garenhuld stock more than Earth.[X] Write-in: Run distraction as human masque Kakara to give Bassoon the room to split, if necessary; otherwise hunker down and wait.
I'm curious, though this might've been answered before. But I believe it was mentioned, correct me if I'm wrong, that the humans from Garenhuld have very slight differences from the humans of Earth: nothing obvious unless you're digging out the microscope.
So, would Kakara's masque be closer to a human from Earth or a human from Garenhuld or would the masque falter pretty quickly under a detailed medical check?
Yeah. I am not expert on the mechanics but that should be viable? But i suppose the problem may be that Kakara might need to manifest to do it, and she can only do so once for half hour every day, so it removes the gang's emergency card, if it failsI'm confused. Why can't we just IT away with Bassoon? Possibly to the ship?
as a matter of fact, the namekian pilot is likely to still be there, right? Just... IT all of the Namekians there, and start the FTL to leave the system.
If that would be too obvious, still just IT to the other side of the planet with the whole group.
Oh, I assure you the thread EXPLODED at the time.I followed this quest well after the MC got totally wiped by the mind controlling saiyan but I am surprised how well the quest has done since that moment. I feel like a lot of people would be way too salty to continue a quest where they lose that hard. Also I like this take on DBZ where it isn't all about PL and how hard you hit the other guy/gal.
I am not surprised honestly. I stopped reading another Naruto inspired quest that was focused on realism in the Naruto world. Yhe questers kept making mistakes since the plans just couldn't always account for basic ninja logic.
Yeah, MfD had some serious GM-player social contract issues. I felt like it was mostly a poorly negotiated clash of incentives between the GMs (who wanted to write fight scenes and warcrime dilemmas) and the players (who in the absence of an explicit goal wanted to hide and do research). Trying to do a highly cerebral genre on a weekly schedule and as a quest also seems like an incredibly hard job, though.I am not surprised honestly. Like I remember there were at least 3 or 4 times where there was a major misstep because the MC was being guided by people who aren't ninjas so he consistently made dumb mistakes that made no sense in character for a ninja who was raised in that world. I remember it got so bad that questers made a check list of steps to follow when making a plan and how to avoid stupid mistakes and it kept happening. So I just stopped enjoying that story.
I would be very pleased if you, or anyone, could link me to that checklist.I am not surprised honestly. I've read MfD fully up to... near the end of that isolated village I think, and I've skimmed a lot of it after that, so I'm familiar with it.I am not surprised honestly. We've gotten better with the advent of the Hazou-Pilot, Sanity Checkers, and Experience.P.S. side note, I don't think MfD is taking a bad approach. the problem was really just that they didn't make it clear enough from the start
it's a really fun and refreshing take, but I'm also exceedingly glad it's still a shounen-esque setting and not, like, Westeros where a lot of really gross shit is likely to happen when a princess/heiress completely loses autonomy over her body. Also I like this take on DBZ where it isn't all about PL and how hard you hit the other guy/gal.
Not to say Kakara's going to be thrilled by what her body gets up to when she's not around, but no, I have no intentions in taking the story in a Martinean direction.i didn't read much of the reader posts until after I caught up, but yeah, kudos for still going even o/

this current arc with Bassoon gives Star Wars vibes; it's delightful.
