OK, I can understand people just wanting to go for the default here, but please consider voting for one of the two below, as they are small and unlikely to risk complete failure.

Alright, I'll vote for my own first. Recommendation for this one is it doesn't risk pushing Dandeer further off the edge, and Prevents Jaffur from commiting suicide while maybe getting Yammar out.

So if we hit Dandeer with a cutting one-liner before implementing the plan and distract her, we might actively improve our chances over the default state of the plan, and probably wouldn't hurt it too much unless the plan specifically involved us benefiting from something Dandeer WOULD do if we had her full attention and she was undistracted.
But if we monologue at Dandeer for several minutes and then she casts a powerful restraining spell on us to shut us up or to spite us, that might make the plan MUCH harder, or even impossible. Because us experiencing THAT was not as planned.
