Well, of course not. The action must be epically hard for it to break past that wall and the people in the planet had a reason to want to give her energy, had evidence something was going on and were asked by a trustworthy figure. Convincing everyone to give energy to save the planet is not nearly hard enough to merit unlocking elite communication.
Now, had Karen been the one invading the planet and convinced everyone to give her their energy? THAT is the level of legendary feat you would need to aim for to do it.

[X] I...wouldn't feel comfortable with that. (Stay here. What's this boy's name, anyway?)
In Which Karen's Stock Has Risen
You shrug, slightly uncomfortable with the line of questioning. "I didn't try out. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that."
He blinks, tilting his head as he gives you an evaluating look. Then he nods, smiling. "Nice answer. Happy to have you around. I'm Clark! Nice to meet you."
"And you know who I am," you say, snorting.
"Everybody knows who you are," he says. "You..." He shakes his head. "You saved everyone. Nobody even really knows what happened, but...we all felt what you did."
You shrug uncomfortably. "It wasn't anything...well, anybody could learn to do it, anyway." You shake yourself. "Whatever. I'm not here today to talk about that. I've been wanting to check this place out for years."
"Well, you found us," says Clark, smirking. "Go on, find a seat. People'll start showing up any minute now."

* * *
You stand on the mountain peak where you make your rendezvous with the Senzus, tapping your foot.
"You've grown impatient, since we last met," a voice says out of midair.
You yelp and whirl, your hand cutting through the air but not encountering anything. Your eyes narrow. "Dandelor!"
"That never gets old," he says, from...somewhere. "In any case, I'm pleased that this appears to work so well."
"Where are you?" you say, futilely reaching out with all of your senses. "I can't even hear you except when you're talking."
"I know," he says, his voice dripping smugness. "My finest work, I believe. With this, the family will have a lot more latitude for scouting. Especially since even you can't pick up on it."
"I guess so," you say, giving up on searching and folding your arms. "Still, why are you out and around? Doesn't Lady Dandeer hate you more than any other Senzu?"
"So she does," he admits. "Her doing something about that presupposes that she can find me, though. Honestly, though, I've been terrified of her for decades by this point. One learns to function. In any case, what can I do for you, Scion? Whatever could bring you out here today?"
"Urgent things," you say. "Take me in, please?"
"Very well," he says, abruptly growing serious. "One moment. Touching your left arm."
You manage not to flinch at the touch, and then promptly feel the sickening sensation of sorcery washing over you. When it fades, you stand across the causeway from the Senzu's ancestral fortress.
You stick out your tongue. "Oh, blech. That felt horrible."
"That is a shame, because it looked breathtaking," says Dandelor, now visible. "Now, how may the House assist you, Scion?"
You shake off the remnants of the feeling and look him in the eye. "Patriarch Yammar wants to move up the plan. How soon can Jaffur be ready to help out?"
From the direction of the fortress, you hear Head Raditz's voice ring out. "He wants to what?!"
tsew
He appears next to you. "Also, welcome back to our Hall, Scion Kakara. Why does the Patriarch want to move up the schedule?"
You look away. "...we learned some things about the night before the Sealing. Basically everything she says about it is a lie. Jaffur didn't do anything to her."
You feel a spike of rage from Raditz's ki signature before he reigns it in.
"...I understand his anger," says the Head, his tone remarkably level. He looks to his brother. "Well, Dandelor?"
The sorcerer stares at you, wide-eyed, before snapping out of his daze. "I...it's hard to say. Jaffur's learning more quickly than I ever imagined he could, but there's still so much. Have you told him yet? I assume it's new to him as well...you would have found out earlier if he'd known..."
"I haven't," you say, looking away. "I'm doing it soon."
Dandelor gives you and Raditz a helpless shrug. "Then I don't know what to say. I don't know Jaffur well enough to say what this news will do to his motivation. Raditz?"
Raditz sighs. "It's not a matter of knowing him well enough. Jaffur adored his mother. His feelings towards her have to be...very complicated. Knowing this won't help. How he'll react is hard to predict."
Seeing a potential issue coming, you speak up in an iron voice. "I am telling him."
"No, of course," says Raditz. "I wasn't suggesting you shouldn't."
You nod sharply.
Dandelor sighs. "Well, given how quickly he's been burning through the lessons I've been passing through you, Scion, I'd say that Jaffur is set to finish learning what he needs well ahead of schedule already. Maybe another three months, at most. If learning the truth makes him work harder...who knows. I doubt it's even physically possible for him to finish in less than one, though."
"I guess it depends on how he reacts," you say, frowning. "Still, at least it means we're not doing it this week. The Patriarch wanted to."
"I'm not surprised," says Raditz. "Consult with Jaffur as quickly as possible, Scion."
"i will," you say, feeling desperately tired of this mess. Why does everything Dandeer touches turn to poison?
Raditz takes you in with a glance and then smiles. "But I'm being a poor host. It's been too long since you've honored our Hall with a visit, Scion. I know Betarel has been missing his friend. May I invite you inside, for the time you have left?"
You look up at him and smile. It's diplomacy, you know. You'd recognize the social form of high-ranking noble to still-superior-noble-not-my-own (#109f) even if you didn't have Dad's lessons whispering about all of Raditz's likely motivations int he back of your head. But that doesn't mean that you don't appreciate his graciousness anyway.
What do you reply?
[ ] "I would be honored by your hospitality, Head Raditz." (#109f-1)
[ ] "Your invitation honors me, Head Raditz, but I must inform my Grandmother Matriarch of your brother's news." (#109f-2g)
[ ] "Write-in." (Feel free to make up some amusingly convoluted Vegetan protocol designation, I'll roll with it.)
MANUAL MORATORIUM. APPROVAL VOTING.
Modest: There is no denying that you have many impressive achievements under your belt, but honestly, you're a little tired of constantly hearing about them. You didn't do any of those things for the sake of public acclaim. You're not asking anybody to forget that they ever happened, but you'd really rather they stop bringing it up every few seconds. Kakara will generally try to shuffle along the conversation when it turns into blatant flattery or hero-worship. In general, Kakara will experience a passive boost on social interactions given the general attractiveness of modesty as a character trait. There is, however, the odd person who finds modesty not merely undesirable, but actively offensive.
New goal type: training. As mentioned in the Character Sheet, training sections with nothing else are boring to read and unfun for me to write. If you all have to choose between them and plot, no training would occur with any frequency. So I'm going to put them in the background. Kakara will focus on them on her own time unless they're used for backdrop or they're ticking over.

Jesus. Vegetan Protocol is fucking huge. Over 100 protocols with sections that have subsections (which may even have variations of their own).
Although if 109f is for "the social form of high-ranking noble to still-superior-noble-not-my-own" wouldn't Kakara be supposed to respond with "the social form of high ranking noble (or even outright royalty) to lesser, but still high ranking, noble not of my own"?
...
......
.........
............You know, it might be fun to mess with the Vegetans by purposely using slightly off Protocols. We'd need to learn a lot without people knowing we did, but it could be hilarious to see how they react.
Fuck! I was really hoping the character wouldn't turn out like this. I was hoping she'd learn to do things right and then take pride when she managed that. Now instead she's downplaying her accomplishments. This is really annoying.

But in a bad way. Like you just kinda have to roll your eyes and accept that of course the Ki genius, kind-hearted pacifist seer scion who rediscovered golden monkey and spirit bomb and literally saved the world is going to downplay her accomplishments. Obviously.

"Others could do so" argument doesn't hold much water when for the hundreds of years no one did. Genki Dama in particular isn't some new technique created in a flash of insight - it is old and many Saiyans tried and failed to recreate it.
Well we really have to wait for qm to actually write the trait first, but I'm leaning towards self deprecation as the more accurate descriptor in her case.
I don't think "you could have totally rediscovered or reinvented this long lost technique" is the kind of response kakara could or should make in response to praise, as the fact that nobody did for however long it was lost kinda creates negative implications.
"Anybody could have done it" when in fact nobody did speaks poorly of the generations of failure, like they were all just lazy or something.
On the other hand, 'Oh I was just lucky, I couldn't have done it without my teachers and friends, etc' definitely fits Kakara's style. Downplaying her own achievements rather than attempting (and likely failing) to inspire others to her level.

Yes, but any of them *could* have done so, and she had an advantage they didn't. And now that she can teach others, there will almost certainly be others who will learn it and be able to do the same thing.
And she did get lucky. Is there something wrong in acknowledging that?

I'm not saying that modesty is in itself bad. Most of the time it's a good thing.
But when you're a wildly successful prodigy child constantly breaking new ground and pushing your entire race to heights they've long since given up on reaching since 'the enemy', then yeah "i was lucky" and "it's no big deal" aren't the positive statements she wishes they could be.
Edit:
Spiderman being modest about his webs or acrobatics is cute.
Tony Stark being modest about all of his advanced technology is eyebrow raising. Like "I don't believe you, but I guess you're just being nice for the cameras or something."

She mastered Spirit Saiyan on her first try. In that, she surpassed friggin Goku. With no help or advice from anyone. That was entirely her own achievement. Of all things to take pride in, that should at the very least be near the top.
