Alright, let's take a look...

--[x] [Martial] Loan deniable assets (Genghis Khan)
---[x] Loan questionable assets
DC 60 (Reduced by XP)
62+5+55+11=133
Critical Success!
Very nice. Nothing negative happened at all, Khan got to have some fun, and I think we got a tip from glomgold of all people.

--[x] [Diplomacy] Recruit the cream of the crop (Goofy)
DC 105
77+26+28+5+10 (XP)=146
Great Success

--[x] [Diplomacy] Establish ties with Magical New York (Kitsune)
DC 85 (Reduced by XP)
88+26+29+2=145
Great Success

To be continued in Interlude: The Balance of Things

Diplomacy did very well. Most excellent.

--[x] [Stewardship] Corporate restructuring (Wasabi)
DC 78 (Reduced by XP)
62+23+28+2-20+3=98
Success

--[x] [Stewardship] Collaborate with Smarty Mart (Roddy Blair)
DC 60 (Reduced by XP)
47+23+29+2-20=81
Success

-[x] Max (Help Roddy Blair upgrade Doofenshmirtz Evil Megamarts)
96

Stewardship did great. The collaboration especially looks fantastic. 41 Stewardship!

And it's nice Max got to enjoy some blue collar work. Alternate career path? Very nice write in.

--[x] [Intrigue] Track down Kat: ACME Unlimited (Wile E. Coyote)
DC ???
25+31+18+3+10 (XP)=87
Massive Failure!

To be continued in Interlude: Venus de Mime-o

Kinda expected. Oh well.

---[x] [Intrigue] Investigate the theft of the Declaration of Independence (Monogram)
DC ???=120
52+35+21+3+10 (XP)=121
Bare Success!
Umm... kinda unexpected. Wow. Nice job Monogram! A new timed quest as well. Fun!
--[x] [Intrigue] Conduct a Security Sweep (Malifishmertz) (-10 from roll from Executive Priorities)
DC 50 (Reduced by XP)
60+31+18+1-10=100
Critical Success!

Wow, way to go Malf! I was sorta expecting this to fail but getting a crit is great news.

--[x] [Learning] Research with the Imagination Institute
---[x] Study Doof's Mind (Technor)
DC 100 (Reduced by XP)
14+25+30+40+4=113
Success

To be continued in Interlude: Deep into Your Mind

Oh hallelujah!!! This was what I was worried about the most. Hopefully whatever comes of this will be great and potentially help Russ.

--[x] [Occult] Form a Coven (Gomez)
DC 40 (Reduced by XP)
52+5+11+1+2 (XP)=71
Success

Having done most of the work last month, all Gomez had to do was make sure the luncheon was scheduled on time and order food from a non-Bueno Nacho source. By all accounts the meeting was a success. There are few enough mages at DEI (and all of them placatable by free food) that an informal system of collaboration was put together easily.

Second Occult Action Unlocked! Court Wizard Unlocked! All Council Positions Unlocked! Councilor Positions now available to be filled!

To be continued in Interlude: The Right Hands for the Job

Hot damn!!! We got it!!! We finally got it!!! I can not WAIT to see the results of this.

---[x] Go undercover

Alright! All very good rolls. Fantastic. Absolutely looking forward to this Interlude.

Wow, what a fantastic turn. Only a couple minor failures and some incredible successes. I don't think anything can bring down my mo-

Suitably terrifying to be Nick Cage. You have my approval!

Also, since National Treasure is a subject here I have to question if Indiana Jones is part of the setting as well. I mean it is owned by Disney so I can see it, though most if not all of the characters are probably dead (except Indie's dad WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALIVE DUE TO DRINKING A CUP OF ETERNAL LIFE, KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL), but there is that warehouse of supernatural stuff in the Nevada desert, and the alien corpse there is suppose to be the Rosswell alien. In Lilo & Stitch the GalFed showed up during the Roswell incident so that could be tied together...

I think for Monogram's quest we should send

Monogram, obviously
Tobe, as a good intrigue unit that also covers occult
Wiley, to cover the rest of the stats
Maybe Dennis for his quest trait but probably rather put him on personal

And I think we're good with just those 3 or 4, to be honest. Anyone else might just cause too much clutter, especially as we would already be sending two heroballs.

We must send Monogram to recover the Declaration of Independence, I didn't expect him to somehow pull it off but he deserves the glory if we pull it off.

Apart form the nat 1 from Wendy, the rolls here are pretty good for this turn. I'll take that much as a win in my book.

If anything, the man seems to have been having a slow week, because there is at least a roll in which he showed 48 Stewardship.

Smarty Mart

DC 80

It may be a bit of retcon or some trait we cannot see, but there is a reason I've been pushing for this for a while.

If Indi stuff comes into play, there is always really old man Indi from the TV series of yore. We have enough temporal shenanigans going on that having him Indi show up as an old, but still minimally active character is quite doable.

Also...

DC 90 (Reduced by XP)

Okay, so Ling-Ling is a +19 Intrigue.

Whoa, hell to the yeah. The Wendy stuff is concerning, but everything else either went well or was likely to fail anyway.

...Does anyone know if Warehouse 13 is a Disney property? If it is, then in a Villains Victorious AU... well, either the Warehouse is in dire need of restructuring its management, or the management and the Warehouse have been blown to absolute smithereens by a magic hate-fueled paving stone. Or whatever went wrong in the season immediately following that one got the better of the cast, in which case iunno.

Damn, did Wendy rolled at all or was that a instant loss?

Malf probably scared the shit out of the low level moles lol.

....was mirage the pesky new intern? :V

We may want to use Declaration to find national treasure, or maybe it has some other uses. Monogram works for both us and government, for him not returning Declaration immediately after obtaining it would be in conflict with his government orders. It may be better to avoid it entirely by sending other heroes in his place.

If we can do you think we should send Doof after the Declaration? Every time him and Monogram adventure together it goes well.

They do not. That would be NBCUniversal.

We may want better Occult and/or Diplo, in case this turns out to be the other Nicholas Cage.

I didn't even think of that but I think you're right. That would explain the part about the alley.

A man walked out of an alley near to the National Archives twenty-five minutes before the heist took place. This would not be particularly notable, were it not for the fact that that particular alley is a complete dead end.

If this is some weird merger of the Cage Disney movies...

This quest seems very interesting now and we definitely need a occult unit. Maybe even Janna and her whole crew.

Man, if it is magic Nickolas Cage we could have him interact with a weird girl starting her magic training, another weird girl with some magic bugs, a staff holding a evil world conquering sorcerer on break, a kitsune, and a mystic warrior guy.

That sounds so fun.

I find this responses a little funny considering Malf only failed on a one mechanically.

Admittedly, I really didn't pay much attention to that one in particular. Just that it was intrigue, it was malf, and it had a negative 10 on it. I figured it was a long shot and he was what we had left.

Glad to know that wasn't the case.

Looks great! Apart from the Nat 1, of course. One quest, a vote, and five interludes coming up!

Now that we have that second Occult action, I was thinking putting Gomez on Basic Magical Theory and Janna on repairing Felldrake's Avatar.

What villain would have won in Wizards of Waverly Place?

...how do the metaphysics match up? I guess the Wizards of Waverly Place were more comparable to people like Kitsune?

The Janus/Jumba/Mirage interlude is titled Seeds and has multiple high rolls...might Janus have gone for a plant body instead?

I could see an argument for photosynthesis.
