Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Did Lord ever said why some of those universes (Like Warframe or Destiny) are excluded?
Can you imagine, Fleet in a Warframe body?

Jumps which are in this version of the Forge but not available for Perks are because LordR is personally unfamiliar with the media in question, and does not want to work with material he is unsure he is being true to the origins of. He is currently working on familiarizing himself with some of the currently excluded Perks, but I haven't heard that Warframe or Destiny are among them.

Edit: Lethed!

The reference doc (which I maintain) is based on version 1.3
Okay but why?
Also things like Fly a Kite are missing their prerequisites (Sky Simulator, in this example). Interestingly, the new price with prerequisites matches the listed price for 1.3 (albeit the 1.3 being more expensive due to said prerequisites).
v1.4: Added An Intervention. Cleaned up some grammar and typos. Added Crowd Scene Limitation.
Added Semi-Euclidean and Non-Euclidean Miscellaneous Upgrades. Added Personal Realty. Clarified that
the Recyclotron and Pipes Pipes Pipes do handle sewage and won't fill your Reality with trash or waste
products. Environmental controls now reduce dust accumulation. Added Airfresheners Needed
Limitation. Changed the Kcal of Basic Accommodations to 2000 per day. Added clarifications to a few
things that aren't important. Added "Big Hole" to Utilities and Structures.
v1.5: The Great Repricing.
● Cost Reduced by 100: Adaptive Inactive Storage, Underside, A Little Less Basic, A Lot Less Basic,
The Pond, Housing Complex, Grand Dining Hall, Entertainment Room, Library, Luxury Housing,
Opulent Housing, Servants Quarters, Game Room, It's a Small Multiverse.
● Cost Reduced by 70: Let's Have Fun, Upscale Housing
● Cost Reduced by 50: Sky Simulator, Fly a Kite, Realistic Ground Cover, Dig It, Lofty Loft, Basic
Nutrition. Parking Station, Garden, Unique servants, Wellness Center, Entertainment Room
● Cost Reduced by 40: Courts, Trophy Room, The Big Pool, Classroom, Office, Rooms For Cheap
● Cost Reduce by 30: The Bigger Pool, Bath and Body Works, Kit and Kaboddle, Music Collection,
My School
● Modified Wildlife & Treeline, Removed Limitation on Gym, Modified Garden & Park

I exercised a lot of guesswork while writing things up to try and figure out what Lord will include in the specific case you mentioned Joe already had an equivalent effect.

As for the version. It's the version I found that matches the wording Lord is using for Workshop. If you ask Lord and get a WoG I can update. Generally Lord uses older versions of things rather than the latest to more accurately reflect the version intended by the original author of the Forge.

I have to wonder what Joe and co would dress as for Halloween because Garment would insist that they have costumes.

Garment would love the run up to Halloween and making all the costumes for people.
Joe would be handing out hand crafted sweets that deserve several master ratings.
Fleet would be offering kids optimized routes to visit the most houses while Survey would be compiling which houses are the best for each trick or treater based on a child's previous purchasing history and which houses bought what.
Aisha would be out in a suspiciously good costume.
I can see Matrix running a house of horrors with Tybalt and I forgot the life fibre companions name. It's getting to the point we need an info post for the companions. lol :D

Thanks. Did Lord ever said why some of those universes (Like Warframe or Destiny) are excluded?

Mainly because Lord has said he wants to be familiar with all the IPs he brings into the Forge if they add any new tech or powers or stuff. If Warframe is anything like Destiny in the department of lore, it'd probably take more time than it's worth to learn all the nuances to have it actually put in the Forge.

That, and Lord has gone on record saying that he doesn't want to add perks into the Forge if they weren't there in the first place. The capstone booster was the only exception to that.

Personally, I think it is better the way it is set up in this story. The only change I would make is adding Crafting (Geneforge) and (and the freebies of that jump, like Shaping Focus) to round out the biotinker abilities from something specialized to more broad. For the rest, the truncated list and the capstone constellation is concise and builds off of each other without fully stepping on the toes of other perks or trying to translate mmo logic to story or being stupidly overpowered like some of the later versions of the Celestial Forge.

Seriously, Complete Timelord Tech is an option in version 3 (and presumably v2) among many other things. Nothing Joe has potential access to is as broken as that. Also, v3 is 353 pages long on Google docs yet is smaller than v2. V1 Edited's pdf is 65 pages long (and I don' agree with some edits), I think LordR cuts that down to half or so, maybe 2/3rds with freebies. Sometimes you can just do more with less and I appreciate LordR's attempts at that.

I have only briefly glanced at the Industrial Forge (a Celestial Forge remake) and it adheres to this design philosophy, but it isn't finished while this fic shows a working, balanced forge that I like. The only design decision I am hesitant on is the Personal Reality Constellation, but I will wait and see how it goes. I would just rather that Joe (or any mc using this framework) got the free Warehouse stuff plus a nerfed version of the water and power perks and then built everything else himself (or got it added via normal perks such as the volcano) or did without.

Speaking of Tybalt, finally started a monster hunter with felynes in it. Oh wow theyre even worse than i ever thought, how do people have positive emotional attachments to these annoying little fuckers?
Felynes are incredibly hardworking and helpful. Their only debatably annoying traits is that they're fond of cat puns and are irrepressibly positive.

If Warframe is anything like Destiny in the department of lore
Warframe has lots of lore if you look for it. Most players just want to shoot things.
But I can't see getting access to all Warframes / the Orokin's tech being good for Joe's mental health.
This is the tech of a Clark tech society that had perpetual motion machines as decorations that's rulers were so cartoonish evil their terraforming AI decided that the only way to survive was to kill them as it was a certainty the Orokin would said AI. Also a lot of Orokin tech is organic and maybe made out of people's bodies and souls.

Just figured out the best weapon for the Avid Glove, monomolecular wire gloves. Nothing says dangerous like Divine Superheated Element Awakened Monomolecular Stygian Life Fiber Gloves enhanced by both Weapon and Clothing Perks.

Not to mention the tenno's own powers came from being in a ship lost in space hell and being adopted by the god of space hell rather than go murderously insane like their families.

But the Forge predates the personal reality supplement?
(Also, the wording hasn't changed between versions, according to the changelog at least.)
Honestly, going through and changing that sounds like a lot of work without much benefit. Also it introduces prices that aren't multiples of 50 if I'm reading the changeling correctly which is unappealing.

I'm expecting to have to make changes when the constellation is actually unlocked so I think I'll wait until then and ask Lord about the details including which version is in use.

Maybe core monhan handles them better, but Navirou is a cringe inducing slapstick garbage character, whose utility is redundant with at least one other character in every scene in the game so far, whose one unique trait is to weaken the protagonist's "talented successor" arc by taking over the only place that talent would have emerged from narrative into gameplay.

Seriously Navirou's only purpose is to prevent the main character's narrative from effecting their gameplay.

Garment speaking in emotive gestures, Tybalt speaking in meow meow,

Felyne, Tybalt would swat at your tendons for calling it meow meow. It's like calling English (or Spanish) "Ook Ook"...

Just my 2 cents on the "Alternatives for words not counting". I've been with this story from the beginning. I followed it from the first post, when few thought it would get the following it now has, or the potential to one day fulfill the Forge. If LR reads this, I just say, keep it like you are doing, do your own thing, what you'be been doing is what caused the success this story has. You are doing great.

the language is actually called Felyne? is that not like calling any human language "Human"?
That's not necessarily what they call their language, but we can't exactly pronounce what they do, so Felyne is just what Humans call their language.

Also fantasy lands usually don't have multiple languages per species, so basing their language name off of their race would likely be more acceptable.

So what Perks from the Personal Reality Constellation are you all looking forward to? Here are some that I in particular want to see:
Body Mod Pod 100
Ever wanted to run a Companion or friend through the Body Mod? Now you can. Have fun. This pod is infinitely reusable as long as each person only uses it once. People using this get access to the same Body Mod Supplement as you used. You can't use this to run yourself through Body Mod again. Anything that lacks a humanoid form can be given one by this machine.

This Could be big depending on what body mod is used, Essential Body Modification Supplement for example has some really powerful perks, the wording of the body mod pod might allow Joe to use it, he was never ran through a body mod in the first place.

He is currently working on familiarizing himself with some of the currently excluded Perks, but I haven't heard that Warframe or Destiny are among them.
I'm guessing those are in the "Expected Additions" in the "Excluded Media" tab?
Binbougami Ga is seriously weird choice. It's been some years since I saw it, but isn't it just a slice-of-life/parody with no tech, and only enusual thing being goddes of bad luck?

This might be some other version, but I remember there was a Warframe perk since the beginning. [Orokin Tech] for 600 points.

If I recall correctly this one was discussed in thread a while back. As I recall it is effectively useless for it's primary purpose as Joe hasn't used a body mod supplement. The only vestigial use that can be acquired from this is the granting of a " humanoid form".
