Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

You're not wrong, but just because Joe's intention is to not give the 9 the opportunity to counter him doesn't mean it'll all work out as he hopes.

The Siberian on her own negates a lot of what he has to bring to bear, compounded by the fact that he has no idea, currently, how she works plus given that she's almost constantly in contact/near Bonesaw it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that the two of them survive Joe's blitz and that's assuming Jack isn't going into full-on caution mode and having the Siberian grant her invulnerability to more than Bonesaw as they approach the city. (He certainly seemed on guard about whether or not to head to BB after all)
Except Joe has given Survey permission to use everything the Celestial Forge has at its disposal to make sure the strike will go perfectly, which should allow her to notice that the Siberian is a projection.

I honestly don't know where you got that Jack is cautious from. His whole dialogue oozed overconfidence.

"This will be serious. Probably one of the greatest challenges we've attempted, but also the most significant. The eyes of the world are following Apeiron and Brockton Bay. They're praying for stability, but we can show them just how easily they can crumble." He looked around the room. "We will have to be careful, smart, and cautious, but I believe this can become our masterpiece. We can strip power from those who believe they have control, sow chaos in a city on the brink, and redefine the meaning of disaster. Our strike will be dynamic, brutal and elegant." A wicked smile crossed his face. "And they will never see us coming."

... is what I was basing it off of, and his general demeanor during that scene. It's not exactly what I would call oozing overconfidence, if anything that was more Cherish than Jack, at least until that end bit.

Granted he could have just been "playing the crowd" so to speak but he seemed on the fence, weighing the risks/payout before deciding it would be worth it. *shrug* it's written in such a way that it could go either way I guess.

Hmm... out of curiosity, do you know what she has in her arsenal that would allow her to ping the nature of the Siberian?
I was doubtful due to the short amount of time and only having direct observation and anecdotal evidence to depend on. Though now that I think about it, time might not be as short given that she's an AI. Still, with the lack of video recordings and a reluctance to employ active scanners for seemingly good reason, I'm not sure how she'll arrive at "Projection".

I don't know if it was ever mentioned, but does Lord randomly rolls the powers for Joe, or does he have a predetermined track?
If first, man, that Gladius-class Corvette really likes to play on my nerves.

Lord confirmed it to be random. He uses the "By the Words" system so every 1,000 plus words gives 100 points to roll. If the roll misses then he saves the points for the next build up. So honestly it is possible to get a Capstone before the other things.

It actually came up in story as a thing of annoyance when Joe had finally figured out how to make Cybertronium only to get a forge that can do that exact thing shortly after when he was finished.

And immediately afterwards we cut to Joe who absolutely sees them coming. So I read it more as him being overly dramatic and overconfident, since while he thinks he'll be subtle and cautious, in actuality he's been coasting by on his power which doesn't help him here.

Eh, fair, she'd probably only realize once the Siberian got into range of the fiat sensors, which would be able to pick up on the situation.

Additional Space (Personal Reality) 200:
This Starting Space Upgrade expands your Personal Reality by a factor of 10 in each dimension… or rather the standard three dimensions, you rabid cheeselord. This can be purchased multiple times. Additional Space also upgrades various expansion options. The first purchase of this brings you to 64 Million Cubic Meters, then 64 Billion Cubic Meters, then 64 Trillion Cubic Meters. Earth's volume, for reference, is 1 Hexillion Cubic Meters and it's surface area is 510 Quadrillion Square Meters. Cover the Earth in storage facilities 100 meters high and you get 51 Quintillion Cubic Meters of Storage space.

Is the storeroom a semantic power that MUST be used for storage?

Or can Joe use the space for anything? Miles of ocean-front property could be a good testbed for civil engineering projects as a practice run for rebuilding Brockton Bay. I know Fleet's toy trains were a prototype for upgrading transportation infrastructure.

Aisha: :o "You built a city?!?!"

Joe: :ogles: "It's only a model."

Aisha: (annoyed) :eyeroll: "...So not in the mood for 'Monty Python' references..."

5: Bakuda won't have a chance to find out that Bonesaw is in town. Similarly, trying to kidnap Panacea would be an absolute last resort, as getting her would require Bakuda to expose her last remaining forces, meaning this would absolutely be a death-or-glory attack.

I can totally see Bakuda try a death or glory attack. Her super-cancers are a ticking time bomb.

Yeah, Jack is a diva that will milk the crowd for everything he can. He like the spotlight.

No. Well, it can get some neat extra for storage, like an automatic archiving system, but it's not locked to only storage.

I don't think it can, since I'm pretty sure one of the Personal Reality/Workshop's rules is that the total space available can't be changed unless a perk is the cause
Perks are involved though? Perks gave him a volcano that was fully compatible with SSS let alone everything else.

This chapter was a fine example of Joe doing Management By Wandering Around. Checks in with each member of the Forge, sees what they are up to, talks about upcoming events like Garments Charity E and wiping the S9 off the map.

Everyone is shown appreciation for what they do and that they give value to the group. Questions are asked and concerns are heard.

I wished we could have advanced to at least the meeting with Uppercrust but meh, it was fine.

So the different factors that could make the Nine encounter go wildly off the rails.
1. Noelle, if the S9 get Noelle'd things become a lot worse
2. Dragon and Dragonhunters, if Jack gets to Dragon or Saint uses Ascalon, lots of things get chaotic
3. Leet, his game grid doing unknown things
4. Uber and Zombie March
5. Bakuda, tries to make a deal with Bonesaw or kidnap Panacea
6. Victor, tries Alchemy shenanigans
7. Uppercrust, gets killed by Mannequin
8. Damsel of Distress, takes a shot at someone.
9. Butcher, dies
10. Case 53s, lots more actors
11. Vista, second triggers
12. Endbringers, attack

Anything I missed?

PRT, Cauldron,... Scion.

Rather missing the point there old chum.

If SSS can affect a property's grounds, and the property of the originating character's family is larger than the workshop space, there is no reason SSS shouldnt be able to apply to the unused workshop space as a garden for Apeiron.

I am going to predict it now.

While joe tries to deal with the 9. Uber and leet will strike then, allowing S9 to escape and cause bullshit damage.

I am saying it now. If that happens, i will be so pissed.

If it doesn't happen, than i will happily admit i am an idiot.
Leet; *turns a large area into digital space he can manipulate with technology*

Apeiron who has divine control over technology and experience in virtual reality: "thanks i guess?"
