It would make sense, though. It's right before the first engagement with an actual angel and Unit 01's cage is filled to the neck with coolant or whatever that is. I'd imagine she'd want to get last checks in before the fight just in case.

She did. We see her diving in the LCL around the Cages, probably near Unit-01:

Then she climbs out to pose for the camera while she takes her wetsuit and mask off.

Which gave us the hilarious EvAbridged line "Why do giant robots make me sooooooo hot?" :D

I had a huge grin on my face the entire time Sorairo Days was playing, and it only got wider when I heard "That wasn't all talk, was it?" Like, I knew that Rei was there with the heat shield, but I was caught up in it until that point. And part of me was thinking "Okay, this is played much straighter than the rest of the series so far, but it's so goddamn good that I don't even care." The editing, the writing, the hilariously over- and underacted lines, it's also so masterfully done.

And then "Oh, good, you're awake." I need to go play some video games.
 
Probably because most people don't cross American stuff over. TTGL is a big one since, you know, they were made by the same company.

Because people either just don't appreciate Megas XLR or it never got dubbed/subbed into their language.

(I have proof from experience. Most Japanese people think Looney Toons characters are cute/cool, but don't really know them because they never really watched them - not many subs or dubs exist. But when my girlfriend at the time and I went to Fuji-Q Highland Park, the Warner Bros. store there had them on DVD with Japanese subs. She had never seen Looney Toons before... but after that she is likely to never, ever forget it!)
