Well, the point is, with the Fake Spear, you can in fact use a normal giant humanoid mecha to fight AT Field wielding enemies. Neither Trident nor Jet Alone are really ideal for holding a spear or the weird hilt-less saber that is its other form, but you could design a new true mecha to wield that thing.
So let's see... Kaworu commanding the MP series... a true mecha with a fake Spear... *begins scribbling down*
....well, actually, it's very much possible of course. Even somewhat likely. It depends on how it is built up. If we assume the slow build-up to A/R/S continues as is (which of course it might not, and God and LilithPrime only know what Stryp's plans are)... Rei has kissed Shinji and Rei has kissed Asuka. Indeed a very slow and gradual buildup. If this continues, it may not need a grand gesture to have Rei "invited in". By the time it becomes official, she might be so involved with both anyway that what you say might not be a great concern.

Perhaps, but given that this is NGE that seems almost... too mundane. Plus, Gendo was never really afraid of that assault and he has no reason to be. He has Lilith, Adam and Rei. Everything he needs for his 3I. While the assault is going on, he can initate his 3I. Which is exactly what he planned in EoE, until Rei said "Ikari needs me".
That is one problem with EoE. We have no idea how the different 3I scenarios differ from each other. In the end, it seems like they all come true. It's like EoE saying "This is Third Impact, shut up about details and enjoy the weirdness."
And I don't like the Classified Information thing. Yeah, to be quite honest, that's all that I can bring up as an argument. I think it much more interesting if SEELE does in fact have some sort of grand scenario for humanity (or rather, for Lilithian life) rather than just trying to set themselves up as immortal gods and screw the rest. However, the CI does seem to corelate with something else I stumbled over once - the (only very partially translated) initial scripts for EoE. Apparently, the Gendo/SEELE conversation there mentions "other worlds", and if I remember the implications right it was that SEELE wanted humanity to assume an eternal EVA form so they can settle other worlds, while Gendo basically thinks this is crazy.
True, but the way they couch it into a quasi-religious argument... to Gendo, to whom they don't need to pretend anything... hm.
Yeah indeed. What you describe is pretty much an angel. Adamite soul + LCL = independent Adamite body = Angel. I suppose, if you could somehow make the "body taking form thing" happen within the confines of an EVA "armour", i.e. EVA restraints maybe it could work. Maybe. But I wouldn't bet on it.

All native Prussians. While the name came to denote a German-speaking region and even state, originally the Prussians were a Baltic people, related to Lithuanians and Latvians. The German Order basically exterminated them, and then settled Germans there. So yes, genocide.
That's in the rewrite of Walking. The original version was, IIRC, written prior to (the original) Nobody Dies. Original Walking was a complete story, while the rewrite is in-progress (I hope).
Also, I would say that he used babiesbabiesbabies... in ND as a reference to Walking, rather than the other way around. He did seem to tie them together at some point, with Walking in a different continuity from ND but affected by a visit from ND cast as part of the Nobody Dies storyline that's referenced in the Walking rewrite.
(I'm too lazy to revise that sentence.)

They operated from territory bestowed to them by Poland. And the Ordensstaat itself was never part of the HRE. What remained after the reformation was basically a good old boys club of the Catholic nobility, anyway, and did not include fighting knights.

Well, they argued that the territory that they had conquered themselves would of course be theirs, but they started their campaign from the Kulmerland, around Kulm/Chelmo, which was given to them as a fief by Poland.
